        Bought Gears for our G-Grandaughter age 4. She has used it constantly for over a year. She & we love it. She's become a budding engineer. Recommend you let child learn to use gears only for a few weeks before introducing the electrical part at this age.

            I bought this set of gears as a Christmas gift for my 11-year-old son, and he loves it! The gears can be arranged in many different ways, and they look so pretty when they're all turning at once. My other children love playing with them as well. The gears are made of thick, durable plastic. After many hours of use, they haven't cracked or broken. I'd definitely recommend this for all ages over six.
