    This is a very high-quality guitar. It is like a real adult guitar, only smaller. My 3 1/2 year old daughter might be a little young for it. It's a little unwieldy for her size-wise but it is a perfect size for the age range it is better suited for (5-10 I would say). It is not a toy but a musical instrument. She will love it for years to come. Right now she just enjoys strumming and pretending she's a star.
