I kept this potty on the floor using the legs. When I started potty training my 2 yr old. He liked it, and got into the idea right away. So much so that by the end of the first week he was wearing underwear at home. By the end of the third week I felt comfortable taking him out of the house on short trips with underwear. The one draw back is, it is taking a long time to learn to poop in the potty. Another drawback of the design is that under the green catch tray there is a space where pee got into. Which made it difficult to clean. I really like the idea that it has the flush option, however it is more of a toy than a teaching tool. After potty traing two girls I was dreading potty training a boy. However with this potty it made things go a lot smoother.

My son absolutely REFUSED to potty train! He knew what to do and knew when he needed to do it, but he would not do it. I tried everything and I mean EVERYTHING! I tried a hand-me-down potty, the song and dance thing, the cherrio's thing, stickers, extra play time, brand new potty, step stools, standing on the toilet, and even going outside. NOTHING WORKED.
I asked my child if he was scared of the potty.. he said "No, Momma I not scared of potty. That jus funny. You funny Momma. I jus lazy!"
Thinking for sure that my child would never potty train I gave up. I figured that eventually he will get it... I hope.
We went through his "nudest" stage for a while. He wouldn't wear his pull-ups, hated diapers, and constantly took off his big-boy-underwear every time I turned around. This went on for four months with no end in site. We were both frustraited!
One day I saw the Petter Potty online and became hopefull, yet doubtfull. I put off purchasing it as first, thinking it would be a waste of money, and would only join the 5 other potty chairs I bought my son.
After a while I couldn't stop thinking about how cute a little urinal would be and how much my son would enjoy playing with it. Then it hit me.. for toddlers playing is learning... just let him play with it.
The day it arrived my son and I were both excited. I because, it had arrived and my child because, he got mail.
Before I even had it out of the box completely my son had riped his pants off and began peeing in the potty! Haliujah!! I was so excited that he had done it, that I couldn't complain about the mess.
Since that day.. there has been no turning back for my toddler. He loves his potty! He takes it everywhere: grandma's house, play dates, honestly, everywhere.
Whenever someone comes to our home he has to show them "his" potty.
BEST INVESTMENT EVER!!
My sister, my sons grandmother, and two of my girlfriends have bought the urinal. Its wonderful! Seriously, if you have a boy who is anti-potty training, buy the petter potty and just let him play, by the weekend you'll be pull-up free!

My son used this from the moment I put it together, washed it and brought him in the bathroom. This is all he will use now. I am very happy with the product. Only thing that I didn't like was that while standing it seems a bit unsturdy, you have to hold it in one place. Mounted, it's great. I would purchase this for a gift.

When assembled, it will not stand freely. It leans forward and is not real steady, you could mount it, but who wants another hole in the wall. The height adjustment only adjusts to pre-set heigths, none of which were near our childs

I absolutely love this product. My 3 year old has been a nightmare to potty train and this is the first thing that has worked for us. He can just run in, go, flush, and run out. Plus he doesn't have worry about where he aims. It makes clean up so much easier for me. I have another boy who is too young to potty train, but when he is, this will be our way! I've even taken it with us when we went to other people's houses.

This is a great potty training tool for little boys. My son was very resistant to taking "potty breaks" until I bought the Peter Potty. Now he's happy to go! I'd recommend it to any mom who's trying to train a little boy.
