My child LOVES Elmo but this is NOT their(or my) favorite Elmo item - save your money for one of the many other cute and educational Sesame Street products. Chair seems unsafe and unsturdy, as well as bad for postural alignment - leans child forward as they sit. Also not as advertised- Child must manually spin themselves (feature does not work well). Also Elmo's hands do not stay on arm position (cover is poorly affixed) and looks sloppy. Further, if you are going to consider this (or any other large item) as a gift - consider the home and the parent's tastes as well- the last thing we wanted in our home is an obnoxious red furry Elmo chair.

Grandson loves the giggle. Just turned 2, average sized for age, chair does not SPIN and not very comfortable to sit on. Very disappointed in this product.

My son got this as a gift for his 1st bday. He likes it because he'd like anything with elmo on it! He never sits in it though. I don't like it much... The material sags which makes it look 10 years old and worn in!! The cover comes off so you can wash it, but I'd rather it not come off just to look better! My sister came over and seen it and said, "wow he must like that chair!" She thought he worn it in! And I don't know how you could even wash it! You'd have to spot clean it so therefore it's pointless that the cover comes off! The speaker is on the bottom so you can barely hear elmo talk!! And it spins... All it has on the bottom is a bubbled out piece of plastic and the kid sitting on it has to be on a hard floor and spin it them self! It doesn't spin on carpet and that's what kids play on most. I wish he had one of those regular and more popular elmo kid chairs instead...

I got this chair for my 15 month old because I thought he would like his own special chair. The chair is really cute, soft, and a good size, but I don't think it is very comfortable. He likes to play with the Elmo and listen to it talk, but he does not want to sit in it. I watched to see what the problem might be and I did notice he seems hunched forwards when sitting in it because the chair back is not very supportive and Elmo's nose presses into his back. I read this in the reviews, but decided to purchase it anyway because I had a gift card to make the price very reasonable. I don't think I would repurchase it if I had to pay full price. I am hoping he will either grow into it or perhaps I can remove some of the stuffing from Elmo's eyes/nose and make it more comfortable!

Chair was purchased for a 2 yeard old. Chair is not that big. The chair does not sit level. There is not much to this chair. Overpriced for what you get. My grandson does like his "MELMO" chair tho.

This chair is adorable lookswise but I actually had to cut a little slit (unnoticable)in the eyes and nose so I could remove the stuffing from them. I knew it was uncomfortable for my 2 year old to feel the eyes and nose as lumps against her back. It should have been made this way to begin with (flat eyes and nose). The only other problem is that the sitting position in it doesn't look comfy, like it isn't shaped all that great. It looks like great fun though, when I'm spinning her in it!!!!!!

My daughter, 16mths old, received this as a gift for Christmas 2011. Totally loves it! Tell her to go get in her Elmo Chair and she RUNS to it and sits down - Too Cute
