Once I finally got this on, it does it's job just fine. The only thing is that the cord shortener is USELESS! I struggled with it for about 30 minutes and the cover will not fit on if you try to use the shortener. I was pretty disappointed about that, but now that it's on it's just fine.

It only has one screw in the middle and my 2 year old had it off the outlet less then 3 minutes. By the time I had everything put away from putting it on. He had it off!!!!!!! He just pulled it off the outlet!!!!

Easy to install, but you have to remove entire outlet cover. If you have more than one cord it is hard to wind them both up and shut cover. Works ok it you only wind one up.

We used this in my son's playroom to cover up the plugs for the tv and dvd player (we couldn't put the bookshelf they are sitting on in front of the outlet because the cord stuck out too far for the bookshelf to be against the wall). It works great! The outlet is totally concealed and my son is not even interested in pulling on the cords anymore because they only hang down a little below the plug cover and then the rest of the cord is tucked behind the bookshelf. I have no worries now about leaving him in his playroom for a minute by himself because I know he cannot get to these cords or this outlet!

I bought this product because my child was always pulling the plugs out of the wall. I was so concerned that she would get shocked. Anyway, I bought this product and it saved the day. After buying one, I bought several. I have not been able to find these in the stores but was able to purchase them online.

We bought these and I thought they would be great, but they turned out to be a little bit of a pain to take on and off. Also, the cords don't fit very nicely in there without a lot of struggling, so the "shortening" bit didn't work out so well. This brand does make a bigger cover, meant to fit AC adaptors, which I like a lot more.

This is a wonderful product! It does what it promises, is easy to use, and gives me peace of mind. Before walking, my daughter would actually pull up on these or use them to balance. Even now, she'll pause for a break or to catch her balance. They withstand her weight no problem. She's played with the cords hanging out from these covers, and the covers have stayed in place just fine.

I gave it four stars because I had to install most of them upside down b/c of the way the outlets are facing in my home. So, many of the cords go through the top not bottom. Not ideal- but not a big deal. They still work. Also, they only work with standard size cords. Power strip cords are too thick; the covers won't click into place.

This cover is great, and the only thing which covers the outlet with things plugged in that I have found. It is also pretty easy to remove the cover to plug or unplug something if needed (only the part against the wall is screwed in). Really, an outlet with something plugged into it is more dangerous than just a bare outlet because your little one doesn't have to search for something to shove in there.

There are two things you should be aware of. 1 There's not enough room for two cords to be wrapped very much in there. 2 You cannot plug something with a large plug, such as a cell phone charger, because the plastic against the wall prevents a large plug from fitting.

We love these and use them around for lamps and other things with regular plugs that stay plugged in all the time.
