I absolutely think this product is amazing, thank god medela has a couple different sizes of shields because I almost gave up pumping and was going to switch to formula because I was using too small (24 & 27 mm) of a shield when I pumped, making my nipples really raw and bleed. Honestly, Dont get discouraged and if pumping with the S(24MM) or M(27MM), is really painful and leaves your nipples raw... THEN ADJUST THE SIZE. I wasnt sure if the 30mm was going to fit my breasts which are a D to a DD now but it did!!

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I have tried the 24 and 27. I am a size 34E and was having soreness while pumping (medela freestyle). The soreness was from my nipples rubbing the inside of the shield. All problems solved with this larger shield.

I borrowed a pump for my first baby and it had many extra parts including 3-4 different sizes of shields. I liked the 30 mm by far even though I have a B cup. Much more comfortable. Unfortunately I had to give the pump and accessories back! I got a new pump, but it only came with the standard 24mm shields so I need to replace them.

After trying the standard size and the large size of the breastshields I went to these. I have a size 42 DD and was having a lot of soreness and plugged ducts. These fit much better. My nipples are not big by any stretch but I needed these for the room which surprised me greatly.
