My pump stopped suctioning on one side, not knowing what the issue was I replaced the valves and membranes (I purchased them just in case) and it solved the problem! I'm now going to purchase a few more. My son could not feed from the breast so I pump exclusively (about 6 times per day). Personally haven't tried any other pumps but can't imagine they work any better than this. It gets the job done and fast. When I was pregnant and searching for a pump to register for, I originally thought that the In Style pump for $279 very overpriced however; if I knew what I know now I would have splurged and gotten the Freestyle Medela instead...it's well worth the investment and taking care of a newborn will require you to need your hands ladies! I realized this quickly after having my son and it was too late.. had to buy a bra that holds the cups in place, it's a hassle to put on each time but having to hold the cups in place for 20-30 minutes at a time is just impossible for me. The only complaint that I have is that the noise it makes is loud and can be very annoying, my boyfriend complains about it constantly and sometimes I still hear the noise in my head after I'm done pumping (it's that bad) just a warning!

i recommend buying 2 pkgs cause 2 is never enough and you always want to have extra on hand just incase.

Valves are valves, I can reuse them again and again but I had to buy new ones because the old ones I had were just too old.
They last for about 3 months as long as you take them off the pumping products and wash them seperately.

I use this product with my other Medela breast pump parts and it is great! The suction isn't too harsh and they withstand frequent washing. The only drawback is when the milk collects inside the valve at the end of the pumping session, but I simply lift the membrane and let the extra drops fall into the bottle.

We love them. They don't wear out quickly, so you aren't having to buy them every time you turn around. They are an excellent quality. I wish we had pruchased the Medela Pump first, it is much better then the more expensive one we bought first!

This is the only store that I have found that carries these so that is great. They work great and it is nice to have extras so others can be washed.

I use my valves and membranes with my Medela Pump-In-Style. They were easy to replace and allow me to keep pumping for my baby while I'm at work. I have no complaints.
