I've tried every kind of cup. These are great. I use them when we go out, at home but I do not use them in the car...they will leak through the straw if your little one drops the cup. The lid stays on even when dropped. Its funny because all the other "leak proof" cups I've tried have always leaked, even when the cup is up-right!! Maybe it was because of some kind of pressure, idk. Anyway, these will not leak when up-right. If the cup is dropped it WILL leak through the straw (thats why I gave it Four stars). Great training cup!

I truly love these cups, not only for me, a 59 year old woman with no kids left in the house - but we have also found that they work great for Mom. She is in a memory care facility and is one of only a few of the people in that "house" who still want to hold their own cup. These lids stay on even if dropped and once my sister found that the staff liked Mom's cup she bought some for the whole house. Can we get them in bulk? Great product! (We do use the longer flexible straws for the adults as many are in their beds when trying to drink.)

I have been using the same ones for over a year now. They last for much longer than expected. My son loves using them, and I think they are easy to clean. I gave it 4 stars because they do leak when turned upside down, which my son does often.

My son loves these cups. I had tried almost every sippy cup out there. And even the ones with no spill straws, but he hated them all. A friend told me about these. He does wonderful with them. We use them every day.

This cup is very durable, especially for the price. My son has been using these since he was 10 months old (he's now 2). He never cared for sippy cups but the hang of the straw very quickly. They are great to throw in the diaper bag to use at resaurants since they are spill resistant or while shopping (unless he turns it upside down and shakes it) and if you forget it someplace they are affordable to replace. I only wish they sold extra straws separately. The cups are still fine but my son chews on the straws making it harder to clean properly so I end up replacing everything. I have a daycare in my home and all the kids use these cups and I have had no problems!
Be careful when putting on the lids though. Put the straw in last or slide it up above the liquid before you put the lid on or the liquid will come up through the straw onto you. But I think the suction is what makes it spill resistant so I don't mind the extra step.

I bought these when my daughter was transitioning to straws and cups instead of sippy cups. They are durable, and overall a nice cup especially for the price. After a while, my daughter chewed on the straws and made them flat, then realized she could take them out of the cup. It's all inevitable. I cleaned the straws with pipecleaners which worked well.

After reading the reviews, I bought these straw cups for my 14 month old son. He simply loves it.He used to have a difficult time drinking by himself from sippy cup. But with this straw cup, he is able to hold on to the cup easily. These cups are easy to clean as well. For this price, it is a great buy. As other reviewers suggested, it is good idea to pour the liquid, snap on the lid and then insert the straw to avoid messy clean-ups..

This item is made of a hard plastic, and is very easy to clean. However, when you stick the straw through the lid, pieces of the plastic fall from the straw area down into your child's drink. You will not see this until you go to clean the cup after using. I returned these cups and received a full refund. Please be cautious if you choose to buy these.
