I bought this product because I had previously settled for cheaper thermometers with my first child and had nothing but frustrations with trying to get him to sit still long enough for me to get a correct tempature. My 1st child is now 2 and a half and still does not want to sit still. I love this thermometer because it is quick and easy and records the last series of tempartures taken. Very helpful to record wether or not his fever is coming down.

I purchased this product because I had one for my son when he was born about 12 years ago and they had just come out with them at that point so after I had purchased it you couldent find the refill tips for it anywhere but it was fantastic aside from that. So after making sure that it is super easy to find refill tips for this one I went ahead and purchased it. It came with the batteries, 20 refill tips & the slide on case to take it in and out of and to store the lens covers in which is convienent & nice. It also came with a little plug in waterless vaporizer for the babies room to try out I guess its made by Vicks. I tried it out on my older son, my fiancee and myself last night to try the memory feature and to see if it seemed to be taking accurate readings and it worked excellent it was a great price for all that it includes & I will say it was super fast which is great for a cranky infant. I am satisfied with this product and would def recommend it to all families out there looking for a solid choice that works quickly.

I DO NOT recommend this product! I got it as a baby shower gift and was NEVER able to get an accurate reading. Even when I had swine flu for 4 days, my temp was over 102 and this thermometer only read 99.1...SO dissapointed! Yes, it gives you a QUICK reading which is why I wanted it in the first place, but it's not ACCURATE!! DO NOT waste your money on this product!!

I have wanted an ear thermometer since my son was born (4 years ago!) and finally got one. It is super easy to use, and so fast. My kids don't fight getting their temperature taken anymore!

The only downside is I wish the temperature display was back-lit! Being able to see the temp in a dark room would make reading temps at 3am much easier! I had no problems taking my daughters temperature in the dark, but had to go to another room to see the results! :(

This thermometor is great and very accurate. I have both the Thermoscan and the Exergen Temporal Thermometer and I find that this has a better read. The other Temporal thermometer always shows a few degrees less than the Thermoscan and that can make a big difference when their tempeture is dangerously high and you don't know if you should take your baby to the doctor. I also love how it stores your last few tempeture reads. By far the best thermometer out there.

Very inaccurate. Each ear gave a different reading by more than a degree! I am always worried about if I really have the correct temperature or not.

I would not buy this thermometer or any ear thermometer. It has proven to be very inaccurate with temps ranging by as much as a two degrees within several minutes - which is too much when it regards possible fever in an infant. I would recommend using a thermometer at alternate sites - in the bottom (most accurate), armpit, or oral.

I couldn't get accurate temps with the forehead thermometer. Maybe I don't use it right, but it was always wildly inaccurate. I get really good temperatures with this thermometer. I did find one ear works better than the other with my son, but it works really well. I can even use it while he's asleep if he has an ear free. It's quick and easy, even he, as a four-year-old, can use it!
