The lamp is cute design overall especially to coordinate with the Baby Cocoa collection, but it is extremely poor quality. The shade is flimsy material (like thin construction paper) and the shade's seam is unsealed except at the top and bottom by a corduroy-like ribbon that came out of the box partially unglued. The resin lamp itself is fine, you can tell it is a massed produced item though with minor imperfections and hence is definitely overpriced. I'm returning this to the store and will just by a plain lamp that matches the colors of my room. Pretty disappointed.

Unfortunately the lamp I ordered arrived at my son's house broken. That makes more work for the new parents as they are in Torrington and we are in Meriden. I cannot understand that it was so poorly packed.

Please check items to see that they are properly packed. I will be there tomorrow to see if they have returned it or I will take it and do it.

I am very disappointed.

This lamp is gorgeous. It matches the bedding perfectly and is very heavy due to the solid quality of the animals on the base. Love it!

It's a lamp, that's all. Unless you need a lamp to match your room, get a basic lamp for 1/4 the price.

Darling lamp that contrasts nicely with our hazelnut cream walls. Easy on switch. Comes with a lightbulb. Dark shade allows for this lamp to be a nice muted secondary light in the nursery. Hopefully it will be easy to dust though there is a lot of great detail. :)

We received this item off our registry list. The nursery theme is wild animals with brown and green colors, so this looks and coordinates great with the room. Its gives of just enough light – not to bright for those late night diaper changes or feedings. I was pleasantly surprised that an energy saver bulb comes with it. As soon as I received it I opened it and put it in the nursery. Very happy!

[...] it comes w/a mega efficient light bulb. It works great and looks adorable. It's quite hefty w/all the animals so it's sturdy, too. Perfect for the nursery. My only complaint would be that I thought the lamp shade would be dark red or maroon from the online picture, but it's actually chocolate brown - so it turned out a little darker than I expected. Still, it works fine because new babes don't like super bright light. Also, the shade had a small crease from the packaging, but I was able to smooth it out. Pretty decent buy.

I wish we could put it in a more prominent place in the room so that it could be better appreciated. Works well with an energy saver bulb. Not that tall which in some ways is good so that it is harder to knock over and chip. Shade is of good fabric.
