I am not sure want most of these people that are writing reviews of this product are doing while trying to assemble this, but it took my wife and I all of 5 minutes to have it put together and looking spectacular on our son's crib.

The mobile is very cute & it goes great with the rest of the My Little MVP set. However, a piece of the mobile was a little warped and it made it difficult for me to put together. It wasn't the easiest thing to assemble, for me at least. Once I finally got it together, it looked nice enough, but the music it plays is really loud. It's definitely too loud to put my son to sleep so I'm sure we won't be using the music feature anytime soon. Other than that, it's okay. I like that it has an off switch to stop the music when you are ready instead of having to let it play all the way through.

      This mobile is cuter in person than online! I love the corduroy and vintage look. The sound has some volume to it... it may be a little too loud to be soothing and put baby to sleep. It was very easy to put together! Overall, it does its intended job and I am happy with my purchase.

        Pro - my son likes it and that is the only reason I give it 2 stars.
        Con - Took annoyingly long to unpack and assemble. As I began to put the corduroy sleeves on the arms, some would not fit because the hems made the sleeve too narrow at the bottom and top. But I had spent so much time unpacking and assembling, I decided to just cut through the hems and make them fit.
        I attached it to the crib, wound it up and let it go - only to have it get stuck as the shapes passed the main arm.
        If I hadn't spent so much time putting it together and destroyed the box trying to get all of the overly secured pieces out, I would have returned it.

        Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

        It is an okay mobile. I am comparing it to the one my daughter had which was by CoCaLo. That one was a much better mobile - better sound and overall quality. Nothing at all to put together & mine doesn't hang up or anything, just not the best sound.

        We registered for this and received it at the shower. It goes great with the theme of the nursery as we also received the matching bedding. It was very easy to put together and is quite adorable; however, the music sounds awful and is loud, and the stars always get stuck which prevents the mobile from spinning around. We put this together yesterday and will be returning it today. It is definitely not worth the money!

        Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

        In three months, this will be our second time exchanging this mobile. The first time, something inside the music box snapped when we were winding it up, (and this happened on the day we brought our baby home from the hospital). We exchanged the mobile for a new one and now, three months later, the music box has worn out already and no longer plays the high notes. While I didn't expect perfect quality from a mobile, I did expect it to last for longer than three months.

        While it is very cute, easy to assemble, and baby likes it, the quality just isn't there and it certainly isn't worth the price.

        Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

          We bought this off another website did not receive any directions and did not have a problem putting it together. We have played it several times and none of the hanging items get stuck or caught like other reviewers mentioned. Music quality is what you would expect from a mobile. We love it.

          This mobile is adorable, but it does not fit all cribs! I was super excited to get it home and out of the box, but was extremely dissappointed when I went to mount it in the crib. We have one of the newer sleigh-bed style cribs and it mounts from the inside and the design is pretty cheesy. It sticks out into the crib and makes it impossible to tie a bumper around it. The little toys also get caught on the arm when they go around and stop the mobile. I read a lot of bad reviews about assembling it, but that part wasn't bad. The instructions don't help at all, but as long as you have an idea of what it is supposed to look like, it's actually pretty easy to assemble. I just wish it fit in the crib.

          Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
