    I was very pleased with this. It's very well-made, sturdy, and even more attractive than I thought it would be. It's nice enough for a semi-formal room. Pencil and crayons just wipe right off. I was surprised at how big the table was -- with a couple more chairs, you could easily put 4 children around it.

      This table and chair set is beautiful, and since our daughter really loves pirates, it is especially great for her! The table was really easy to set up, but there was some confusion with setting up the chairs since the individual legs weren't labeled very well. There were no pilot holes for the screws, so we stripped a couple of screws while putting it together. There are a few paint drips where it looks like somewhat lazy craftsmanship, but it kind of adds to the rustic, pirate-y feel to it. Sturdy and great workmanship! Our daughter loves it and we love it. The chairs can also hold an adult perching on the end for a tea party, which has become an essential for our daughter after Christmas!

      Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
