Product Description
This pretty Moses Basket creates a space for Baby anywhere in the house! A safe place for your baby to sleep at home or when visiting friends. Keep Baby close by wherever you are! Overall unit measures 30"L x 17"W x 18"H. Natural colored basket is 6" deep in the middle. Soft bumper/liner is made with fuzzy Sage Dot fabric (actual colors may vary from screen display). Soft polyester fill pads the bumper for comfort. Liner wraps around the outside edge of the basket and hugs the sides and handles. Liner is removable and can be machine washed (cold water, gentle cycle) and tumbled dry (low or no heat). Includes a foam mattress pad and a sheet. Basket hood shades your baby, or it can be removed completely. Hood attaches with hook-and-loop tape. Basket can be used until baby is approximately 15 lbs. (6.8 kg) or until baby can push up or roll over unassisted. Basket should always be placed on a firm, flat surface. Never place it near the fireplace or open flames. Sturdy handles are woven onto the basket. The handle is actually "one piece" that goes down both sides and under the bottom. Although this basket includes handles, we do not recommend carrying the basket with your baby in it for safety reasons. When Baby outgrows the Moses Basket, use it as a place for storing stuffed animals or linens, or as a bed for dolls or pets. Furry Dot material is 100% polyester, sheet is 80% polyester/20% cotton.

This is a great place for newborns to take a nap--our son falls asleep easily in it because it's small and cozy--he must feel secure in it. It's also very soft and comfortable and very transportable--baby can nap anywhere in the house so you can always keep your eye on them. One of the best baby items we own.

I'm glad I decided to purchase this particular moses basket among others. It really is a good buy. Its not very expensive, yet it does provide a cozy place to sleep for your baby. My newborn had no problem sleeping in it. He's now 6 weeks old, and still loves it. We use it at Grandmas too. My only negative comment would be that I dont think it would be sturdy enough for an older baby. We dont plan to use it past 4 months, or until the little guy can sit up. Other than that, the product is great.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Looks nice and the green insert was nice and soft but it's just not very sturdy, I wish I had spent a bit more and bought a better quality one with a stand. Now my 7 week old can kick about quite a bit I'm afraid she will tip it over. It was pretty cheap though so I guess you get what you pay for.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
