We got this as a Shower gift which we had registered for. The shower/hose thing worked a minute and then never again besides the fact that its bulky and takes too much room. The sling stunk right away and leaves a musty stench on my babie's head. This is an awful product! I agree with all the other negative posts.

I recieved this tub at my baby shower. I loved the idea of having an easy way to rinse my son off after giving him his bath and having a tub to put him in. Boy was I wrong! The shower feature is horrible! Ours never worked, the button is hard to push and hold in. The tub is okay, minus the fact that he is growing out of it and I'm afraid to sit him up because of how slick the sides of the tub are. The picture on the box is very misleading. It made my husband and I believe it was going to be wonderful and we were let down!

The sling smelt terrible after a couple weeks of getting wet. It just doesn't dry well and had this mouldy stench that would rub off on my son's head and make it smell musty too :( We ended up throwing out the sling and buying a separate sling which works great. Seeing as that's the main component of the bath (for newborns anyway) what's the point of buying this product if the sling needs to be thrown out after a couple of weeks?

Our biggest problem is that the sling doesn't dry very well. As a result, the headrest began turning brown after having it for only a couple of weeks.

When I was first looking for the right tub for my son, I came across this one. It looked like a great option considering I don't have a bath tub, just a shower. It worked great at first, then after about a month or so of using it the spa feature suddenly stopped working. It's not the worst thing in the world though. The shower part still works just fine, and that's the part I like the best. It really does make rinsing your baby so much easier. I know a lot of people say they have issues using the shower because it's kind of a stiff button, but after using it a few times it gets easier. My son loves bath time and he loves the shower sprayer. So as long as you don't really care too much about the spa feature, I say this tub works fine.

This product was a waste of money! The shower feature broke after only a few uses and the tub was way too slick for our comfort. The tub only got better as my son was able to sit on his own. I would not recommend this product for a newborn.

This is a really cute tub. I thought it was going to be great but it was only ok.

I like how it is flat at the bottom for when he sits up.

The sling needs to be more efficient.

The sling takes a while to dry and is very difficult to wash...it says not to wash it...which, come on! It's for your baby! Everything needs to be washable. So I took it apart and put it back together but it was pretty difficult and the sponges around the corners tore off.

I like how it has the temperature sticker on the side. That was helpful for my husband and myself.

The sling was a bit difficult when my baby was not as sturdy. He would always slide down and look uncomfortable.

I have not even used the sprayer or the bubbles more than twice. I am lucky that my baby LOVES bath time.

He seemed to be very happy in my mother's (his grandma's) Fisher Price Ocean Wonders bathtub. He looks a lot more comfortable too.

I was so excited to receive Summer Infant Soothing Spa and Shower at my baby shower. It looked like it would be very easy to use and soothing for my son but when i first used it, it was very difficult to figure out! I couldn't even get the spa to work and the spray part broke after using it once and my son would slide all over the place. The sling pad thing was the best. I could fit it into the sink but that broke also after using it a couple times.

I got this tub as a shower gift. It was a top gift registry item. It is a waste of money. The baby slides down the sling. You have to push the on/off switch hard. The shower button is very hard to push especially while trying to hold the baby from sliding. The shower does not spray very hard so I have to use a cup to wash the soap off of her. Do Not waste your money.
Buy a regular tub without the extras.

I was so excited when I registered for this product because I thought the hand sprayer would be great during bath time to rinse off the soap and I thought the spa would be enjoyable for my daughter. I only used it 3 times before the sprayer part stopped working and the times it did work I had to press down on the button so hard I could barely get it to spray. I do like the tub part though but the pad that props up the baby doesn't work very well and she keeps sliding down. I would save your money and splurge on other products.
