When you screw on the top and shake it, it leaks out the side. We had to tighten them so tight that the bottle rings cracked! I would never use these again!

1st I admit, I have an "easy baby" he doesn't complain about much except being hungry! But these bottles are still THE BEST!

I'm a working-nursing mom, so I express milk at work, bring it home, bring it to day care, swap out the bottles ... it gets crazy. These bottles make this SO much easier:
1 - Bottles attach directly to the Medela pump flanges!! So I can express milk directly to the bottle (one less container to clean, believe me, that adds up when you're doing it 4xday, 5xweek!)
2 - They're a great price! which, ironically, might scare some moms AWAY ... but there really is NOTHING wrong with them! If you're bringing milk to daycare, leaving bottles at grandmas, or just want a "few extra for home," you can actually feel guiltless about buying EXTRA!

I've exclusively nursed my son, but at 2-wks had such pain I introduced a bottle of expressed milk. He had some minor nipple confusion (poor boy - who wouldn't - he was switching between me, a nipple shield, a pacifier, and this bottle at TWO WEEKS OLD!). That passed quickly and he got used to the nipple (which wasn't much different than his Soothie pacifier). No noticeable issues with excessive gas etc. So once we conquered giving a bottle I now have about 20-30 of these bottles!

I use 4-5/day to pump, keep a few extra in my office just in case "mommy brain" kicks in and I leave the house without clean bottles, daycare has at least 10 ... and I don't care if a couple get lost along the way - because I didn't take out a mortgage to finance them!! Spare parts (extra nipples and ring caps) are cheap and easy to find too.

I will say (especially for nursing moms) to wait to meet your baby before deciding for sure on ANY bottle and nipple. So don't go crazy buying a whole set to find out your baby doesn't like the nipple! But I started off on these, and am SO glad I didn't invest money on significantly more expensive bottles (there are SO many options out there!) ... and if your baby doesn't like these ... then you're out the cost of a cup of coffee!

Washes easily with a bottle brush.

I Originally intended on using these bottles just to pump into because the little 5oz bottles weren't enough for my milk supply. I ended up just up giving them a try for my daughter (who uses playtex drop ins) to see if she would take them, and she did! She did not spit up all over her face nor did she have gas/ trouble burping. They're great. The only reason I give them 4 stars is because of the quality. If they remade these bottles stronger, It would be better but of course the price would go up. They fit the Ameda, Medela, and Lansinoh pumps. Great bottles.

Bought these because inexpensive product, problem is the nipple and/or ring/bottle top leak, even when you put the insert in top to prevent leaks. The 8 ounce bottles are great for pumping milk into but the tops and nipples leave a lot to be desired.

We used Dr. Brown's bottle until she was 4 months old (they were the only ones she took to.. go figure). I started having to work more and I couldn't take washing the Dr. Browns bottles anymore. It takes forever!! We bought these bottles and she was having a hard time with the nipples. They are very hard. So I switched them for the Dr. Brown's nipples and I haven't had any problems since!

I have a newborn and in the beginning I bought these bottles and they were great, then I needed to buy some more and I noticed that they look different. So I used them and they started leaking horribly. I examined the small writing on the nipples and it said made in Mexico, then I noticed the small writing on the other ones and they made in China. Well these new bottles that they have (made in Mexico) are Horrible. Don't buy them.

I used these bottles with my last babies (twins) and they were great. And the price was amazing!

So I went out and bought them again for the new baby thinking how lucky I was to not have to go through the agony of buying gobs of different bottles trying to find a decent one. This time, though, they are leaking horribly...sometimes from the hole where the nipple goes through, sometimes from under the ring. Don't know what is different but what a mess. Have had to switch brands.

I needed a bottle that came in different colors, so I could tell the babies bottles apart. These bottles are perfect for us. They are easy to wash, BPA free. I don't notice the babies being gassy with these bottles. The price is great! I also have Dr Brown's and Born free bottles that we got when we were trying bottles out. I am just as happy with these bottles and they are way less expensive!

I got these bottles for my newborn because I wanted something basic. These are just that. The nipples these bottles come with though are not very good, at least for a newborn. They aren't very soft and they let out big drops of formula very quickly. I use Dr. Brown's Level One nipples with them and they are perfect.
