Love the design. Was easy to put together, I think it took me about 1 hour. The height level is easy to adjust. We bought this crib when my daughter was 8 months old so I initially installed the mattress support too high but it was easy to lower. My crib bumper was a little tricky to keep straight in the back but I figured it out. The back board does interfere a little. I like the bolts because they are really sturdy. I wouldn't use any plastic covers for them. The natural finish was exactly what I hope for. I was afraid that because there isn't a drop rail, I'd have problems putting my sleeping baby in the crib, but the lower rounded side makes leaning over the front easy. I am only 5'5". The drawer doesn't attach to the crib like I'd hoped, but it works just fine for storing extra blankets and sheets.

I purchased this crib because mine was recalled and I wanted to have the same color crib but I was looking for one with a drawer underneath! [...] I took the pieces out and put the crib together by myself. It took me about an hour and a half to tear down my old crib and put this one together in it's place. When I was getting the pieces out of the box, I noticed that the pieces were not very heavy (unlike my recalled crib that cost half the price...) I was not impressed, my other crib was recalled because kids were kicking the rails out and getting trapped, but the wood on this crib feels like it would be easier to break then on our old crib... we will see...It went together pretty easy and I loved the fact that the front was curved down, to allow easy access to get to your baby, plus there are either 4 or 5 mattress settings, so I could have the mattress a lot higher with this crib than with our old one - which was a HUGE bonus! The drawer for underneath was a different story... I took the box a part and inside, one of the corner pieces was broken, so I could not put the drawer together. I started searching through the paperwork for a customer service number and there is not one... you pay almost [$] for this crib and there is NO customer service phone number... Ridiculous!!!! You have to email customer service... so I emailed them with the part that I needed -[...] I would have given this crib 4 stars if the price was lower - I thought the quality of the wood was only worth about 150-200, not the almost 300 that it actually costs! I am pleased with the look of the crib though - it was the color that I was looking for!

Comments about DaVinci Parker 4-in-1 Convertible Crib with Toddler Rail - Oak:

I researched the heck out of cribs before I bought this one. This brand had the least safety issues, and this model had none. We used it for my premature son from 3 months untilhe was almost 4 by converting to the toddler bed. My son was sad to see it go! I put it together myself, and had no problems with it, but a second person would be helpful. When assembled it is sturdy, and it is nice that the mattress level can be adjusted as they grow. (although that was somewhat tricky). The change to a toddler bed was simple, and my son loved that he had his own "bed" but still had his crib too. He had no problem adjusting, and the guard rail kept him safe while allowing him to get in and out on his own, which he loved! The rolling draw underneath was very handy for sheets and blankets, and I liked the fact that if I needed to get an extra blanket for him while he slept I didn't have to open any noisy draws! The curve in the front made it easier to lift him out or put him in. I really can't think of a complaint about this crib.

Comments about DaVinci Parker 4-in-1 Convertible Crib with Toddler Rail - Oak:

Hubby and I put this together with no problems. The instructions are a little bit confusing at first, but it went fine. The color is a tad on the orange side, but after reading some of the reviews on here I was expecting ORANGE, and this wasn't the case. The crib is very sturdy, and our Baby Einstein mobile fits just fine on the front or back.

Comments about DaVinci Parker 4-in-1 Convertible Crib with Toddler Rail - Oak:

The box arrived damaged in the mail, but thankfully the contents were in fairly good condition. The crib scratches easily, so be careful during assembly. Also, the directions are not terribly intuitive, but get the job done. Assembly took approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. A couple of the crib pieces were manufactured poorly, with varnish simply being applied over wood defects. One corner piece of the drawer came broken, but the break was in cosmetic location rather than a structural location, so we simply glued the piece back together rather than haggling with customer service. Overall, this crib seems to be a good buy. It is stable, attractive, and will hopefully last for years to come. Be cautioned however that the oak color is rather orange compared with more of a honey color that is in the picture online.

This crib wasn't the easiest to put together, but it wasn't the most difficult either. The wood does scratch easily (I scratched it a little bit while putting it together) but the crib came together nicely, looks great, seems sturdy and like something our little girl could use for awhile. The color is darker than what is shown online, but I was prepared for that.

Comments about DaVinci Parker 4-in-1 Convertible Crib with Toddler Rail - Oak:

I ordered this product online because the crib I had received was missing one of the rails and was no longer manufactured. So I did research for one that would go with the furniture I already had. When we opened the box I cried (hormones), the color isn't oak at all, it is orange. But we had already struggled to find a crib of our liking (they were sold out or too expensive) so I just kept it, plus I was almost due and didn't want to be building a crib once my baby was already here. The material is very cheap and scratches easily. The drawer was already chipped from one side. I do love the style though. And I made it work with our already existing furniture. So far it seems sturdy and the drawer is a big plus. But if you choose to buy just note the color is more orange in real life. They really should update the images with the right color.

THis is the third crib I have purchased and so far has been the best. We bought this for our soon-to-be daughter. I was very impressed with how sturdy it is. I also loved the color. Iit was pretty easy to put together. I walked Hubby through the directions as I was on bed rest so I sat laid on the futon and he put it together. We can't wait to put our daugther in.
The only problem I had was that dawer underneath while great for storage seemed like an after thought.

Comments about DaVinci Parker 4-in-1 Convertible Crib with Toddler Rail - Oak:

This convertible crib has been a great bed for my son for the past 3 years. He has slept in it since he was 5 months old and it has been a great bed. He is 3 now and we still use the crib matress because we have not converted it into the full bed yet. I also have kept the side rail on because he moves around a lot. He has only fallen out once and it is so low to the ground it didn't phase him. He did, as many kids might, put his legs through the bars (he was about 2), but I got him unstuck without much problem. The only thing I hated was the trundle drawer that went underneath. I had a very hard time putting it together and when I did, it was awful so I threw it out. The crib itself was not too hard to put together but it took maybe a couple hours if I remember correctly and at some points it took 2 people. One had to hold pieces while the other screwed things in. Taking off the high crib rail to the lower toddler rail was easy. Keep your instructions though just incase!!! I had to move the bed and lost the instructions which just made it take longer. Price was great for what we got. My son's bed is a darker wood which I like because it's a nice color and he also colored on it with crayon which came off but it was a while before I even noticed it!! It can scratch easily though. Overall I recommend this convertible crib!!!
