Description



Kids love catching bugs! This fun outdoor toy captures insects by battery-operated vacuum suction power without harm into a clear plastic capsule. You can view the bugs through the magnifier in the capsule. Then you can either release the insects back into the outdoors or in the Backyard Safari Bug Habitat (sold separately) built epecially to house small insects. The "capture core" even includes a magnifier for cool viewing.

I bought this product because one of my neighbors had it and their kids loved it. I bought it for my son and right away he starting sucking up as many bugs as he could! He loves capturing bugs and then putting them in his Backyard Safari Bug Habitat. I love it because I can catch little critters in the house and release them back into the wild without even touching them!

when I saw this product I was leery but took a chance. I love it. My kids have praying mantis(es) and lizards, and I always found myself by the porch light trying to catch moths, etc. This made that chore a breeze, plus the kids love it.

This product broke after about 4 days of use. Got it from Toys R Us and since it was a gift and we didn't have a reciept, they told us to contact the company who made it.

Very disappointed in the Bug Vacuums performance!, as well as Toys R Us

This is a cool toy my son has. I think that this is an enjoyable toy for both girls and boys. I even use it to get bugs out of the house! Def. worth it. The only bad part is that it's a little loud and whirring- but not too bad. This is a fun toy for little kids to really examine the world of bugs! Buy it!

I bought four of these to give as gifts to a group of boys at a company picnic. They all loved them!! They came with batteries, which made this an even better value. However, I was glad I packed some extra batteries, as the orignals didn't last very long. Overall, the boys seemed to enjoy them, and that's what matters.
