My husband purchased this kitchen for our two babies 9 mths. and 1 yr. and 10 mths. old daughters last Christmas. The only thing they enjoyed about this kitchen was the music. They got bored after a few minutes and it took up a lot of space for the little use of it. The kitchen was played with less than five times this past year so I put it in the storage. They are 1 and 2 (going on 2 and 3 yrs. in a couple of months) and they have a another kitchen that holds food, dishes, etc. and they love it. This kitchen does not hold food and you can't store anything.

Fairly easy to assemble, Nice bright colors. Bought this for my son's first birthday--he outgrew it pretty fast, but loved it for a while. Works great still, 10 months later.

You can't put anything in the fridge. I thought this would be a great one piece kitchen for my daughter, but it doesn't keep her attention. I got it for her last year when she turned 1. She is now 2, and hardly plays with it anymore. At first she just turned the knobs to hear the sounds. Pretty much all she does now is try and hang on to the arch and swing her self under it like it were monkey bars. When she does that it tips over. As far as a pretend kitchen goes, it's not very intersting to her now. I'm going to pack it away and buy her a bigger and more realistic kitchen that is actually usefull. But other than that, it's sturdy. I would just recommend this to children under 2. For children older than that, it's kind of boring.

I purchased this product for my daughter before she was born. She will be two soon and she still loves playing with it. I would recommend any one buying this for their child.

I bought this 2 days ago for my 9 month old daughter. There is a similar toy at her daycare so I felt good about it.
And she LOVES it. It's sturdy enough that she can pull up on it, play with all the stuff on it, bang around, crawl through the archway. She bobs and dances when the music plays and laughs like crazy. We had a playdate right after I set it up and both girls had so much fun. Wonderful toy.

It is not very loud and does not do as much stuff as the laugh and learn house. I just got the kitchen for my 11 month old son last night and he still prefers his house over the NEW toy.. the house has many different things to do as well as sing to... the kitchen does not have very many! Def not impressed and wasted my money!

This is a great cause and effect toy. I bought it for my grandsons first birthday, he is a little delayed due to being born premature. He loves to open and close things as well as lights. This has both and in a couple of weeks, he has mastered the light switch and pulling himself to standing.

Our son received this for his 1st birthday. It takes up a lot of space and within hours we had to tape down the stovetop pot sound because everytime someone walked by it would go off. Good music options but there just isn't enough to do especially on the living room side. By 18 months we had traded it out for a real play kitchen. Get the house instead - we have had the laugh and learn house up for twice as long and he still plays with that almost daily.

I just bought it yesterday and i already see my twin boys trying to break the fridge door which is very flimsy. Also the toaster comes right off which has two plastic sticks coming out at the bottom which i feel is very dangerous. The music and lights dont really come on so my kids get bored easily. I was really excited to get this but i think im just going to go return today.
