This is a great option for anyone expecting twins and looking for someplace for them to sleep/nap together. The Arm's Reach Original Co-Sleeper has a higher weight limit for the bassinett portion than a standard Pack N Play. A regular Pack N Play's weight limit is only about 15lbs total for the bassinett, so if you have twins, once they're over 7lbs each, you have to separate them.

I was able to keep both of my newborn twins in this for sleeping and napping when they were first born. Initially this was used in my bedroom, so they could sleep in my room at night.

Now that they are older and they sleep in their own cribs, I use the Arm's Reach Original as a regular Pack N Play, as a diaper changing area or for one of the babies to nap in alone.

Also, while the Arm's Reach sheets fit best, I have used the Carter's playard sheets for the Original Co-sleeper and they do fit, albeit snugly. I just don't put them in the dryer.

I bought this because we didn't have much room in our apartment. Well...this product didn't leave much room in our bedroom. It's really big. It's honestly like having another play pen. I used it for 1 week and was done with it. Also, it was a little hard to set up. Set it up where you want it because it doesn't fit through door ways and it's hard to put together and take apart. If you are buying this for this because you don't have a lot of room...buy the mini. Also, I know it says quickly outgrows... but this thing could fit a toddler. It's the size of a play pen. If you plan on putting the baby in his own room in a few months then who cares if the baby out grows it! You won't be using it much after that anyway. Save your money and time and buy a mini co sleeper.

      Comments about Arm's Reach Concepts Arm's Reach Original Co-Sleeper - Black/Toffee Liner:

I am a mother of 2, my oldest almost 4 and my newborn. I need as much rest as my newborn will allow because when he is asleep I still have my toddler to care for. The co-sleeper is so perfect at night. It is attached right to my bed which I love. I am able to see my newborn son and just reach over and grab him to nurse when needed. I love that it converts into a play yard which you can pack up and take anywhere. My son will definitely be using these for a while. It is definitely worth the money. I recommend to all newborn parents.

        Comments about Arm's Reach Concepts Arm's Reach Original Co-Sleeper - Black/Toffee Liner:

We knew we were having twins so we wanted something big enough to sleep both babies and this was it. My boys were born 5 weeks premature so they were small to begin with, but they both looked so tiny in this co-sleeper! It is nice and big and fit nicely at the foot of our bed. Our boys slept in it until they were 4 months old and then they started getting a little too big to both fit in comfortably, so we moved them into their cribs in their own room. We found the co-sleeper difficult to fold, which is why I only gave it 4 stars instead of 5, but overall it is great and very functional!

Don't know what we would do without this! Every mom needs this. It is big, but you should expect the size of a playpen because that's what it's converted into after using it as a co sleeper! Get the small one if you dont have a big room!

I want to share my story to warn you about the customer no-service this company offers. We got this product for our second child. We chose the black/toffee color because it would match our color scheme the best. When we got the product, it was missing the liner. I contacted customer no-service and sent them all the information they requested. I explained to them that this particular item is not sold in stores and was currently out of stock online. They emailed me back saying that since I paid a discounted price (we paid[$]) they would not send me a liner, but they would sell me a new liner for [$] plus shipping or I could return it. They actually told me to return the product. We really wanted to keep the product. Great customer service. So if you buy an Arms Reach product, just hope you have no problems because this company will offer no service after purchase. You have been warned.

This is a great option for newborn-8 months in your master bedroom prior to sleeping in a crib. It then serves as a great place for naps for a 9 months+ child. Be sure to purchase some sliders or pads for the feet to avoid scraching hardwood floors.

I didn't get this at first because I received a pack 'n' play for my shower and was borrowing a bassinet. Well, my child is rather tall so he outgrew the bassinet instantly and so we decided to use the bassinet portion of the pack 'n' play; however, that only holds up to 15 lbs (not sure why). When we found this out, our child was 19 lbs and 4 months old. We weren't ready to have him the whole way upstairs in his crib yet, so we opted to get this. I am so glad I did and try to tell everyone that I know to skip the pack 'n' play and just get this instead. The bassinet portion holds up to 30 pounds and then once he outgrows that part it can be used as a pack 'n' play. Also, the bottom portion hold 50 pounds and the front part of the cosleeper folds down to be up against the bed, but we have found it to be rather useful when our son takes a nap in the lower portion and we don't have to bend down at that weird angle and wake him up. I absolutely love this and now have a brand new pack n play that I probably won't use because this is so much better for us for the same price.

When I found out we were having twin boys, I knew that Arm's Reach co- sleeper was going to be a great option. I plan on breastfeeding both the boys. Their nursery is upstairs and I already know that I am having a c-section. It only makes sense to have the babies near us to make life easier for late night feedings. it was very easy to put together. I love that eventually it can be turned into a P&P. Seems like it is going to be a wonderful product. They are scheduled to arrive in the next 4-5 weeks. Cant wait for them to use it.

dr sears recommended the cosleeper in his book. I am so glad that I got it. He also suggested you toss out your baby monitor and now I agree. My bed is very high compared to average. I fixed this problem by using blocks basically sold to heighten objects with legs. It's very secure. I am a first time mom, unsure what to get. I am so glad I got the cosleeper. You will instantly wake from a cold sleep when your child awakes to feed. I also was awoken to him choking and had him in my arms in a split second. A 3month old this week had choked overnight. No noise on the monitor. You will have many decisions to make on what's best for you. Personally no other country puts their babies in another room. This is unheard of to them. My babies whom is breastfeeding sometimes lately spits up in his sleep. I am so glad I am right by his side when these moments arise. I have a crib in the living room for day naps. Monitors give you a false sense of security. I highly recommend the cosleeper. Which can later be used as a playpen! Why worry about your baby. As a mom no matter how sleep deprived I am, when he is in need of me or awakes, I awake to. If this wasn't natural then why the need?

                          Comments about Arm's Reach Concepts Arm's Reach Original Co-Sleeper - Black/Toffee Liner:

this product has been a great alternative to the bassinet and/or crib. It's much better than having her between the two of us, as she has so much more room sleep and play in her own space. We are using it as a co-sleeper now, but it will be a great extra travel crib when she outgrows it as a sleeper. The sizing it great and I am really glad we went with the full size sleeper instead of the mini, even though it does make me have to scoot halfway down the bed to get out, it's still worth it. She is sleeping and resting so much better throughout the days and nights and so am I because it's so convenient. We did have to buy the leg extenders, and after a week of not using them, it was a lot easier once we out them on, I just wish they sold them in the black color we bought. I would rcommend this to everyone!
