cute dolls, seem well made but as other reviewers stated I did not get what was pictured! I got a totally different set with other costumes! My daughter will love it either way but I would have liked to have gotten what I paid for

WARNING: I did not receive the dolls or costumes pictured. It was a completely different set. 4 different dolls and all the costumes were different. There was a bear, a different cowgirl, a pirate (that only sort of looks like a pirate) and the rest of the outfits don't even look like costumes. Half of it just looks like regular Polly clothes. I contacted customer services and the rep didn't even really care that I was midlead. It was just either keep it or return it. Stellar customer service TRU! I reordered the one pictured here it from [@]. I am going to return the Toys R Us one to the store and they better reimburse me for the shipping cost too.

I got it for my daughter and she loved it the first 5 mins, then she got frustrated since the clothes wouldn't go on the doll. We ended up returning itand buying something else.

I really wanted this and finally i got it! when i opened it i was really dissapointed :( the dolls are slippery feeling a look very weird.The clothing are slippery and porly made. i was really dissapointed with the princess costume. It was all pink and a splash of white and the crown didn't fit. my tip DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS! hope i helped :)

The costumes are a really fun change to all the regular Polly clothes which get really repetitive after a while. Also it lends itself to new types of imaginative play. Now the Polly's are always putting on shows, or having parties, etc with the costumes.
Unfortunately some of the integral parts of the costumes break easily, like the strap that holds a hat on. It's impossible to wear the hat without the strap so that's a big problem.

The items are so little and brake so easy. They kids broke several of the dresses sleeve putting them on.

I bought these for my 4 year old. This set comes with 4 dolls and 10 costumes. In addition to the witch, mermaid, princess, butterfly and cowgirl, there is also a cheerleader, angel, supergirl, and ?a yellow one piece strapless outfit with bunny ears and a pink outfit with harem pants and blouse? I'm not sure what to tell her they are dressed as. Do little girl dolls have to have swimsuit style costumes, short skirts and strapless outfits? Regardless, she loves the dolls but now wants her own strapless outfits. The durability of the outfits isn't great. One sleeve has already ripped. It is very difficult for her to get the angel's dress on because of the pointy hands. The outfits slipped on very easily compared to other little dolls but once they got wet they lost their slipperiness. The elastic string that holds the hats on came undone also and had to be replaced with different elastic.

I have 3 girls 3, 5, 7 and they love Polly Pockets, and they were so thrilled to get these however several of the "costumes" broke right away... some have very thin parts and just broke when they were dressing them. We all noticed how easy they were to get on and off because they are 'slippery' that was nice but we were all very disappointed when the tail on the mermaid tore apart and the cape necks split the day we opened them. My girls are not that rough with their toys, so I was surprised.
