I already had played the adult version of the game so I know that it is alot of fun. So for Christmas I got this game for my 10 and 8 year old sisters and they loved it. We ended up having to play it all night. It was also a great way to teach the youngest one in the family the little brother new words.

My son (11) loves playing board games. But sometimes he doesn't understand the regular Apples to Apples. This one is perfect for all of the family to play.

I gave this gift to my son's fifth grade class, to be used during inside recess. My son told me that upon opening the game, the entire class cheered. He was so happy to give the game and the class was ecstatic to receive it!

Usually, when you think of an educational toy/game, you think, "eh,boring!" With this card game, it can teach your children new words, without them really knowing that they're learning. Basicly, the game is that you have to match a word on a red card to the theme on the green card. Example: Theme:Beautiful; Word:Princess. The only bad thing about this product is that no LESS than two people can play this game. You need atleast four people to play. If it's only two people playing, it can get pretty boring.
If you're teaching children or in the education branch, you could use this to teach them new words and examples to those words. I would say maybe, children no older than 10 or 11. It could be fun for you and the child.

This game could not get any better! This is what people have been looking for, an easy, but fun game. At least me, I have been collecting toys/games for a long time and this is one of my favorites. Apples to Apples Adults is fun too. Mattel is genuis! How you play the game is simple, there are decks of red cards which the player(s) get, and green cards which the judges get. The judge will put down a word, Example: Happy, definintion: joyful. The object of the game is the player(s) do not pick their cards. You just get them from the judge. Also, the judge will not tell you what word is next. If you have cards such as kite,love letters,cheerleading,grapes,school, and hospital and the card "happy" goes down, you have to find one that most matches that. Now you do not have to, you could be humorous and put down something off topic, but could lose. The winner is the judge and you get to explain why you put down your answer, although you need a good judge. They cannot goof off. They need to be honest and fair. If they are not, I am not quiet sure how many fights will break out. (no need to worry, just little fights like yelling)I love this game and one con about it is for kids who are maybe around 8 years of age might have trouble with the words and explaining them.
