This tray makes a great addition to the Bumbo. Not only does it help my 6 month old daughter to not fold over frontwards, but it is nice to put toys on, and even helps for the Bumbo to serve as a small mobile high chair, for when we are away from home!

This is a great alternative to a high-chair for those first introductions to rice cereal, etc. It also allows them to play with toys and use their hands. However, if you have a chunky child (like mine) their legs may have some trouble getting in and out of the leg openings. The problem with the tray is that it is too difficult to attach once they are in, so you have to wiggle them under it after attaching it-- which is getting harder and harder to do the chunkier his legs get and the more he is learning to move in different ways! A cooperative little one + the bumbo seat/tray can be a great experience, but it can be a nightmare if your little one doesn't want to help! ;-)

The tray concept for the Bumbo seat is brilliant, but ours never stays attached. My daughter can lightly touch it and it comes falling off. Would NOT recommend this.

This tray is awful. It does not stay on at all. I click it into place and with one slap of my daughters hand, it falls off!

Great Add On for the chair! We use it all the time! I just wish you could take apart the tray, so it could be placed back in its box for storage.

Breaking down... UGH! Definitely NOT a fan. We used the BUMBO everyhwere so naturally I wanted to take the tray along too, but the fact that I couldnt fold it flat after putting it together was disheartening. You CAN detatch the 2 pieces, but it was such a struggle for me & I was so afraid I was going to break the thing, I ended up keeping it connected up until now :(
Another thing is that you can't "slide" baby out & that almost, would've been okay, but it was difficult to remove the tray especially when baby is in & a little on the heavy side...
Don't get me wrong, I looooooove the BUMBO SEAT itself, but this tray has got to get redesigned!

I've read the other reviews and seen people say that the tray doesn't come off if it's properly installed. The only explanation I have for that is that the quality control may be poor and some of the lips that hook the two tray pieces together may function better than others. Mine definitely does not stay together. This might be the worst purchase I've made since my son was born. Thank God it was cheap but I guess you get what you pay for. I'll be returning it anyway. There was no getting the tray on securely with my son in the seat. Then I took him out and played around with it just to see if I could get it to fit. And YES, I had pushed the two pieces of the tray together completely and I did follow the directions that came in the package. It still came apart with very little effort once it was on there. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone, what a disappointing product.
