I used this on my hips, thighs, belly, and breasts, basically anywhere that was growing. This is my second pregnancy and I used Palmers lotion for the first. Albeit stretch marks are likely due to genetics, however, this butter is golden!!!! I don't find it "greasy" like the other reviews, and the smell is calming (it has lavender). The soft, rich butter has kept my skin supple and if I skip a day my skin is begging for it. I haven't experienced any reactions and have been extremely pleased with this product in terms of moisturizing very well, smells great, and the price. I'm on my second tub and expect to purchase another one. Again, this product is a must have in my book for preventing stretch marks and keeping your skin pliable.

I LOVE this tummy butter, on my fourth pregnancy and have used this starting around month 3 for all my pregnancys. And not a single stretch mark! (On my belly that is... no one told me your breast, butt and thighs got bigger too.... so word from the wise to you fisrt time moms... rub EVERYWHERE!)
It is greasy, so bedtime is best, but worth it!

When rating this product I am keeping in mind that I have sensitive skin, so I am not rating it horribly because of that.

I used this product for 3 days, applying every night before bed. I then spent the next 8 days applying cortisone on my bumpy itchy belly every night before bed. This product is a bit on the greasy side, which didn't bother me, this is why I applied it only at bedtime, so that the inside of my jammies got the grease instead of my clothes.

I know that I can only use certain sunscreens and lotions, but have never had a problem with a Palmer's product before in my life, so this is why I went with the Tummy Butter over the others. I have been using almond oil since this product (about 3 months now) and still no stretch marks!

I'm prone to the nasty marks all women are scared of and when my mother told me she got them with all 5 of me and my brothers I knew I was doomed.
I got the palmers belly butter when my tummy started getting bigger (around 3-4 months) and lo and behold no marks! I also have a terrible case of prego brain so I didn't use it religiously but definitely 4+ times a week.

Its on the greasy side so bedtime is the best time for this belly saver (which I force my boyfriend to do for me while we watch tv ;] ) other than that I love the stuff

I think that this may happened to many women since the label says that you could get rash, and stop using it if you do. I got the worst rash ever!!! Belive, My tummy was all red and itchy. Some days I cried because I knew that scratching wouldn't help, but the my tummy was all red. I had to visit a specialist because it was seriuos. So be careful!!!!

My husband bought this for me along with the travel size lotion for on the go. I am 27 weeks pregnent and no stretch marks so far in the places I've constantly used the butter. I noticed some on my bum and thighs and started using it there too. They have not gone away, but they definately slowed the growth of them and seem to be fading a bit. It may be oily but it keeps my belly moisterized overnight. Best to use fresh out of the shower before bed. Spend a few extra minutes to massage your belly. If I ever need it during the day I wear a cheap thin cami top under the shirt that I don't want ruined. I tried the regular lotion but it doesn't stop the discomfort when my belly is feeling stretched out and itchy. It also helps alot to have a slow steady weight gain and drink lots of water to keep skin hydrated from the inside.

Sounds like a miracle cure, but way too greasy and has a strong distinct scent. The scent is not too bad at first, but it became overwhelming after several minutes. It does not absorb well - even after 1.5 hours I was sticky. I tried to go to bed with it on, but it got all over my nightgow/sheets. I ended up in the shower at 11pm. I will be returning today :(

I started using this product on my belly, hips, thighs, and tush after I noticed some stretch marks on my hips and tush. Although, I know there is no miracle cream or lotion out there, I figured it was worth trying.

The product itself is thick, grainy (at first), and smells delishious! It takes a bit of rubbing to make it smooth over the skin, but it feels great...... aside from how GREASY it is. I found it best to put it on right after showering, let it dry while I do my make-up and hair, then if its still sticky, I put some baby powder over it to keep it from sticking to my clothes. I assume the greasiness is from it being Organic so, Im not complaining, just informing.

Also, do NOT put this on before venturing out into the sun without putting sunscreen on over it- it causes you to get a very bad sunburn wherever the balm was- due to it being all natural oils.... FYI.

The smell is amazing, however I wouldn't suggest using this balm if you are still having morning sickness because it is slightly strong.

I love this lotion. I bought a jar of Tummy Butter shortly after I found out I was pregnant. I started using it when my stomach started to feel itchy. It kept my skin from itching when my skin begun to stretch. I am now at 32 weeks and I use it everyday. I do not have any stretch marks yet. I don't know if it is the product, but I don't plan to discontinue use to find out.

it hydrates well but it is super greasy, gets all over my clothes and it made me break out in a really bad rash. it doesnt absorb quickly enough.
