I am convinced this is the only monitor that should be on the market. I don't know how any parent could rest easy without one.

The monitor has a subtle tic noise and moving pendulum that is in tune with your baby's breathing and movement. I leave this feature on during the night and for all naps for complete peace of mind.

In my opinion sound monitors are only useful for when your baby wakes up and needs you. Video monitors are the same but you can see them wake up too. Our greatest fear as parents is that your child WON'T wake up...this is the ONLY monitor that will let you know this.

Hands down the most important baby product we own!

My husband and I love this monitor! We are able to walk outside with the handheld part and never have any interference. We were even able to put the mattress at an incline when our little boy was sick and it still worked! We are so impressed and are now looking for a second monitor now that we are expecting our second but we may end up purchasing the same one. (and if you have issues with the battery you may want to either change them or make sure you actually charge them, I wouldn't blame that on the actual monitor, just the user.)

Yes, it's expensive. Yes, it's a bit annoying the first few times that you forget to turn off the monitor when you pick your baby up, and the alarm goes off. However, it is the BEST investment you can make. Our baby has acid reflux, so we bought an inclined infant positioner. Our baby finally fell asleep quickly; however, the alarm went off in the middle of the night, and we found that she had wiggled down the positioner and had her face stuck against it to where she could not breathe (advice: tilt your crib mattress and do NOT use inclined positioners). It protects your baby when she's little, it protects your baby when they can climb out of the crib because the motion detector will realize when they are not on the mattress, and in our crazy day and age, it also protects your child if someone tries to remove them from the crib. Most new moms have a hard time sleeping because they constantly look over to see if the baby is breathing. With this system, you can simply look at the monitor, see the green dot flashing, and know that your child is safe, and you can rest easy. Great, Great, Great product!

I have been using this product since my daughter was born six months ago. I can not imagine my life without it. All I have to do is quickly look at the hand unit and I know that she is ok, and that the temperature in her room is not too hot, or too cold. I have only had one false alarm and that was in the first month of use before we had the sensitivity adjusted properly. Since then it has worked perfectly. I can not imagine what the first few months of her life would have been like without it. The few hours sleep I got each night were so precious. Without this monitor I would have been up every ten minutes checking on her. She was such a quiet sleeper that I probably would have had to shake her every ten minutes to make sure she responded and she would have lost sleep too. With the base in our room all I had to do was crack my eye to see the blinking light on the base and I could fall right back to sleep. This monitor can never replace common sense and the hands on of a good parent, but the peace of mind and extra sleep this can provide is priceless.

This monitor is expensive, but worth EVERY penny! Although our baby girl was ready to sleep in her crib at 8 weeks old, I was nervous about it. What if she stops breathing and I can't hear her?! With this monitor, you NEVER have to worry about SIDS. It does the worrying for you! :) There is a pendulum that swings back and forth on the monitor screen that lets you know your baby is breathing. All I had to do was look for the swinging pendulum, and my mind was put at ease. Our baby began sleeping 8-10 hours straight at 8 weeks, but I think I would have been up every hour checking on her if I didn't have this monitor. Baby slept great, and so did we!!! All the other features this monitor has are great, too! No interference, has a temperature reading, and an alarm will sound if baby stops breathing, so make sure to always turn it off before picking up baby. However, we've never had a false alarm like some other people said...very reliable! Our baby is now 6 months old and I still find myself looking for the swinging pendulum! :) The best baby purchase we made by far!

This is the BEST Momitor out there right now, I Love how it sence's my baby's movement's and the temp. in his room....This Monitor ROCK"S!!!!! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this to ANYONE, for the price and for what your getting compared to other monitor's out there this is a steal and very very good quality! I looked at so many monitor's and this one really WOWED me and it work's perfectly....the ease of knowing that your baby is moving and breathing without you being right there is a BEAUTIFUL thing and peace of mine..This is wonderful

This is a great monitor! As an anxious first time parent, terrified of SIDS, this made all the difference. I used it when I brought my baby home from the hospital and I was able to sleep soundly knowing that the alarm would wake me up if anything was wrong. Also liked that if I did wake up, i could just look at the blinking light and know she was still breathing. The monitor also has a great range... i can walk the dog a few houses down while the baby is sleeping and not have to worry about not hearing her wake up and the monitor even works at my next door neighbor's house!
we did put a thin board under the mattress for the sensor and i got better motion results.
now that she's a toddler, I use only use the audio part, but still love that you can monitor the temp in the baby's room so i can adjust the heat/ac before the baby wakes up uncomfortable.

I HIGHLY recommend this product to all of my friends who have babies! The angelcare monitor helps me sleep better at night knowing an alarm will sound should my daughter stop breathing. I consider this monitor a NECESSITY for all new parents.

After tons of research, I decided this monitor was the best choice for us and I couldn't be happier with it! I LOVE this monitor!!! I was afraid it wouldn't work since our bedroom is on the first floor of a large home and the nursery is upstairs and on the other side of the house, but the reception is perfect. We can hear the baby like he's sleeping right next to us. It's super easy to set up and has a lot of great features to help you feel sure baby is safe. The screen shows the room temperature & movement level, the monitor will alert you if you did not turn on the monitor in baby's room or you are out of range. There are 8 channels to choose from and the nightlight is perfect, not too bright, but bright enough to see what you are doing. This monitor is definitely worth the price!
