I love this monitor. My son is 11 weeks old now and the only false alarms we had was when he was 1 or two weeks. Since then we haven't had any. It's better to be safe then sorry! I also like the fact that it tells you the temp in the nursery. Its has a moving pendulum on the monitor. If the pendulum stops it warns you with a beep and then if stays stopped for 20 secs alarm will go off. With our son it beeped but then it starte dmoving again so no problem. Plus I like that I can just look and watch the pendulum moving which indicates your baby is breathing.

Being a new mom this monitor really made me feel secure. I knew that she was moving and coould hear her. It really let me walk downstairs and be away from her room. It is the best thing we bought. We had some video monitors, but took them back.

This was the most important item on our registry. A friend had suggested it as she loved hers. I'm so glad we got it! We sleep so much better knowing we'll be notified if there is a problem. And it's nice to see the pendulum moving on the handheld reassuring us that it is working. We've not had any problems with the battery life or with false alarms as some other reviewers have mentioned but it does occasionally pick up some static. I've recommended this to several friends!

For the longest, we had decided on one of those fancy video monitors. Well.....it's a good thing we waited until our daughter was born before making that purchase. It turns out my daughter insists on tummy sleeping and, being terrified of the SIDS risk, we changed our minds and decided on the Angelcare. It works great. Of course, it doesn't replace getting the baby to sleep on her back but it has helped to give me some piece of mind (and some sleep).

I've used this product for almost 5 months now and it gives me such peace of mind so i can sleep when my baby sleeps! I tell everyone that this is the only reason i'm able to get a good nights sleep b/c I don't have to wake up and check on the baby every couple hours to make sure he's breathing. I highly recommend it to anyone!! Definitely worth the money!!

I received this item after registering for it. The monitor falsely alarmed every time we attempted to use it. We followed all directions. We called the manufacturer for assistance, and they determined we had a bad sensor pad. I was told they would send me a replacement pad within a week. Two weeks later I called to find out why I had not received it only to be told it was backordered and would not be available for 4-6 more weeks. My only options were to wait the 4-6 weeks or provide Graco w/a credit card number (they would not take American Express) for them to send me a whole new monitor. They charged my account but then credited it back after I mailed back the defective unit to them. This was very inconvenient with a new baby. It took another 10 days to receive the replacement monitor, so I went for quite some time w/out a monitor for my newborn daughter. I ended up purchasing the cheaper Bebe Sounds Angel Care monitor to use while waiting for the replacement and the cheaper one works great! I love it, no false alarms, works exactly like it should!

This product is a waste. You might as well just buy a regular monitor. I would pick up the baby in the middle of the night and forget to turn the motion sensor off, and it would beep a warning beep TEN MINUTES LATER in the middle of a feed. Like it just realized my baby wasn't there. If God forbid, my baby was in trouble, it's good to know I would know 10 minutes after. Just buy a regular monitor...or find a better brand.

My daughter is 18 months old and I have used it since she was 4 weeks old. I LOVE this monitor!! It gives me such peace of mind. The only trick is if the when the baby is little and moves around the bed you need to have the pad where the baby likes to stay. Now that my daughter is bigger it always picks her up. This is a wonderful product that every parent should have. Remember to turn it off when you take the baby out of the crib, the alarm will go off. You are usually in another room when it happens, just a tip.
