As a first time mom on a budget, I am very happy with this purchase. It does the job and costs less than a lot other sterilizers where you might just be paying for "brand name". BE SURE TO MEASURE YOUR MICROWAVE FIRST!! Ours is medium-sized & we only had to take the glass turntable out, but were able to leave the roller the turntable sits on so the sterilizer still spins & fits fine. all bottles & parts we have tried (nuk, born free, avent & similac) all fit fine & absolutely no melted parts). A trick we use to measure the 7 oz. of water is to use a washed bottle to measure & pour the water before sterilizing. This is so much easier than boiling a whole pot of water & cheaper since we were boiling bottled water (our well water isn't that great). Love this item. Instructions were simple too.

I was so excited to get this as a baby gift but it doesn't fit in the standard microwave. We had to return for one that did fit. I recommend measuring your microwave before purchace.

I use this daily as we are on well water and it is a good idea to sterilize the bottles. It was inexpensive and does the job as I can fit quite a bit inside. Cons to consider: It barely fits into our microwave so you may want to measure before you buy. The tongs are completely useless. We don't use them.

Came with no instructions and won't fit in our microwave. Thought I could save some money on this store brand but it was a waste.

This sterilizer was a great buy! It was easy to use. We never had a problem with it burning or melting any of our Playtex Ventaire bottles. Ours also came with very easy to follow directions. I'd definitely buy this product again.

great idea, however does not fit inside our standard microwave. make sure to measure your microwave prior to ordering this item. returned it and bought the FAO Schwarz sterilizer that plugs in and we love that.

was excited to get my bottles sterilized and ready before the little one gets here and to try out all my new gadgets but unfortunately it won't fit in my microwave. I have a standard size microwave and even with the turntable taken out it still won't fit.

Very easy to use. Just wish it came with a little measuring cup since it needs 7oz of water to use. Never burnt anything, never melted anything. Just need to remember to rinse it out after use, the steamed water leaves cloudy spots all over. But never had a problem with it!

Product works as it states and is very easy to use. I was a bit skeptical after reading previous reviews that stated the device "melted" bottles. However, the Playtex, Avent, and Born Free bottles that I used in it all stated whether or not they were sterilizer safe. Thus, I did not put the Playtex bottles in the device, since they came with a nice warning message against placing the bottles in ANY sterilizer. Bottomline, to avoid bottle damage follow the manufacturers suggestions for the BOTTLES NOT the sterilizer itself.

I'm glad I ignored the posts about melting and purchased this inexpensive and wonderful device :)

I bought this when my daughter was a baby and plan on buying another one with this third on the way. We used for the second as well, [...]My one question for the moms that said it melted their bottles...you did put the water in it right? I mean, without the water of course it is going to melt everything...uh duh! Anyways, I can't wait to have my third and final baby and this one product is one that I find completely indispensible.
