My son is 15 months old and LOVES this table. He loves splashing the water and playing with the sand. He will play around the table for a solid hour before wanting to do something else. I would definitely recommend this for little children as well as older kids.

We've filled it with both sand and water and have had no problems with leaking. I had to assemble this on my own and had a little trouble with the screws - this product should absolutely be assembled with an electric/cordless drill otherwise it would have taken forever. The lid is another great feature because it stays on and doesn't let anything inside - I assembled this right before a thunderstorm and the lid kept the sand completely dry. The umbrella is a little flimsy, but keeps the table shaded in the hot sun. We bring the umbrella inside after he's done playing to keep it from getting damaged.

I VERY happy that I purchased this product, and I would recommend this to anyone.

This product lived up to its description. I was completely pleased with everything. Its a fun outside activity that provides hours of safe play time. My only issue is with fellow reviewers who made an issue about other sand/table boxes not having a secured top (which prevents rain water from getting into the sand and other debris), unlike this one. The main reason we purchased this particular sand/table box was due to that precise reason (having a secured top) but my son is constantly mixing the water and sand and putting dirt in the water and sand...so its actually comical that we spent so much money on something that was going to get dirty either way.

    I bought the sand/water table for my 3 yr old grandson's birthday. He is obsessed with it. We've had it now for about a month. The water side ends up with sand, but we drain it every few days and refill. A good idea anyway to have fresh water. I love that it has a snug lid.

    Assembly was easy. The table has room for several kids to play at the same time. O loves the umbrella. Even when it is not needed, he likes having it. The umbrella was much larger and nicer than I thought it would be.

    I would definitely recommend this purchase. A good value for the money.

                      My mother bought this for my daughter last spring, and it's been a big hit ever since we got it! It's nice weather all year here in Texas, so we definitely have gotten our moneys worth. My daughter loves the sand area, and she loves to throw the sand in the water. She also loves shoveling the sand and putting it into her pail (pail does not come with table). This is my daughter's favorite toy, and she has a LOT of toys outside, including a big play set. She was 1 year old and will be 2 in a couple of days.
                      The lid is great for keeping the rain out. We've never had anything crawling in her sand either (thank goodness). great buy! Thanks 'Mimi'!!

                            Excellent quality, colorful, easy to assemble and the Step 2 Sand & Water Activity is a hit with our twin 3 year old granddaughters. We set it up on the deck outside and we enjoy watching them play endlessly and happily when they visit. Very good product for the price. Only one negative comment from grandpa: the plug for the water portion leaks somewhat releasing water down one of the legs of the sandbox.

                                We got this for our son for Christmas. He is 20 months..and this table us perfect for his age and he will get a few more years out of it. It seems tks be very durable..and I llove the cover that straps down to keep it clean when not in use. My son loves this toy and it was well worth the money.

                                  Very sturdy table. It is alittle on the short side. But, not that big of an issue for my 2yr old. Comes with a few basic toys, shovel,small boat etc. Nice size. I didnt want a very deep sandbox (afraid of spiders and critters using it as a litterbox). This depth seems perfect for 2yr olds. Very easy to assemble too!
