love this toy box/book shelf. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is that I can't stand all of her books upright because of their height but that's ok some are standing some are laying and it all looks great!

i am not happy with it. i got two of this item. one as a gift for my sister in law, and it works every well for her family. one for my son. I ask my husband to put everything together, and a big problem comes up. the cover did not work at all as I called(only my husband can pull it off and slide in). we try to find out why. we take out everything again and found the answer. The cover is too big for the groove and that's why it can't slide in and out.

It's large with a whole lot of room for all kinds of toys. We have blocks, stuffed animals, soccer balls for indoor only, playdoh and more in there! Top that, my daughter can still crawl in it with space, lol. Not on her own though...just for a funny picture. She loves it. It's sturdy and just what we needed. Only downfall is that the plastic bookshelf doesn't let books rest easily, they slide and when she picks one they all fall on her. So we use it to store more stuffed toys or art supplies and bought a separate book shelf.

Great Size and value. The only downside is that the top shelves are very narrow.

Perfect Storage! My daughter just turned 1 and this is the perfect toy storage for her. She can easily get her toys inside and can even reach the shelf for her books. She doesn't know how to open and close it yet (which is a good thing) but she can easily pick out the toys she like. I like it simply because the compartment is very wide and deep enough to put a lot of toys. My baby girl loves reading books too and we have so many but it hasn't filled up the shelf yet. And plus it is made of plastic, so it can easily be carried and re-positioned somewhere else. We bought this on sale around [$] ( i think or [$]) so I guess it'll be really better if you can get it at that price. I'd say it is totally worth it for the price!

We bought this for our 14 month old daughter to store her toys and books in her playroom. Simple assembly, sturdy and fits A LOT of stuff. Our daughter is a busy climber so a wood (real or fake) toy bin and/ or bookshelf was NOT an option. She loves it and so do we!

I bought this toybox for my 2 year old son and he loves it! He actually has two, because he has the same toybox at his grandpas house. It holds a huge amount of toys, plus shelves part of his book collection and nic-nacs as well. Assembly was a piece of cake, took less than 10 mins! It's very sturdy and durable, perfect for a rough and tumble two year old!! I would reccomend this for anyone looking for a kid-friendly toybox!

I purchased this toy box for my one year old grandson. It was very easy to assemble (only two screws to hold the top in place when you slide the top and bottom together). Molded plastic with rounded corners. It has a place for toys and shelves for books or whatever you want to use it for.

I looked and looked for a great storage option for our son's ever-growing collection of toys. I found expensive, heirloom-quality chests that were gorgeous but knew that I would die a little every time it got scratched, nicked, or broken in some way (which is inevitable). I ended up purchasing 2 of these and they look great in his room (which will be shared by our newest addition later this year). I purchased a few small bins for the shelves to store little things like his books and blocks. I was surprised how big the actual chest was inside! There are a tons of things in them and room for lots more!
