If you are looking for a product that fits over your bathtub faucet and prevents your child from hitting their head, then this one is for you! However, if you are also watching out for sanitation then I would not recommend! I was surprised to see that nobody else pointed this out! Probably because a lot of them keep it on constantly. Mildew formed on the inside of the cover, most likely because some water does drain into it from the faucet. I decided to take it off, bleach it, and only use it as a bath toy. I did that and it worked fine. I just recently "checked" him again and noticed that there is now a TON of mildew in Elmo's head (because it is hollow). It is impossible to get your hand in their to clean it. Elmo is now in the garbage and the reason why I am writing my first review ever. I don't want my child or any other bathing with mildew!

My daughter received this for her first birthday. We wanted to protect her little noggin wheile she's in the tub and since she LOVES Elmo, we decided to put this one on her birthday list. It is a little difficult to get off (we have to take it off for her dad and I to take showers because the water diverter is on the spout), but for the sake of her safety and that it's her favorite character, it's worth it.

Jayden loves it, and keeps him from hitting his head or trying to play with the faucet. It's a little tough to get off, but if the baby has his own bathroom/bathtub it's not a problem.

I was afraid this would not fit, but its fits great and protects from bumps and bruises. I can see how its wouldn't fit all spouts, but it does say it DOES NOT fit all sooo....Its not too hard and not too soft, its perfect for me and my lil one! I love it!
