Great nipple if you breastfeed as well as bottle feed. Also great for weaning off breat to bottle. I breastfed all 3 of my girls for a year and used this nipple to switch to bottle.

My baby has used these nipples only since she was 3 months old. I use them with the drop-in liners so you can get rid of the extra air. The flow is perfect. Not really fast nor is it really slow. They didn't spill out over my child and it was the perfect speed. I use 4oz liners at each feeding so I can judge if she will need more or less. She is 6 months old and still uses them. Awesome product. I tried several different nipples and these work for her. I think it is a child-by-child experience. Each child is different.

We decided to change the flow of the nipple after it was taking a very a long time to feed our daughter on the slow flow nipple. We were lucky to find the medium flow nipple at our store; however, our daughter kept making gulping noises, and milk kept coming out of her mouth. We thought that maybe it was her trying to get used to the nipple, but after reading other reviews, I decided to run an experiment. I bought two packs of the medium flow nipples (2 nipples in 1 pack). I held the bottle upside down, and 3 out of the 4 nipples were at a constant flow instead of dripping! No wonder my daughter was having a hard time, because the medium flow is really fast! I don't know if I will stick with the bottles (which I love) unless I can use other nipples. Is anyone else out there using different nipples, but using the playtex bottles? It's really a shame. So, everyone out there who is having trouble finding the medium flow nipple, it might be a good thing!

I use the medium flow for my 2 month old! Slow one's just tend to make him mad. I don't have a problem with mine being too fast.
I notice some parents complaining they're just as fast as a "fast" flowing nipple. If the milk or formula is too warm it will spew out like crazy.

I love the platex bottles, these nipples are great! My daughter is still on this flow at 6 months. I didn't start her on them until 3.5 months though. I think 3 months is a little to soon for this flow but just test them on your baby and make sure they are sitting UP in case its to fast. My 4 month old goes to sleep with the slow nipple so we decided to swictch to the medium.....It comes out in a steady flow, not a drip! My baby has thrown up the entire bottle everytime I have tried the medium. I wish they made one that was an actual medium flow/drip and not a stream that comes out! I compared it to the fast nipple and there is not much differnce!!

These nipples are waaaaaaaaaaaay too fast! The entire bottle (7 oz.) is gone within 2 minutes with these nipples & my 6 month year old daughter starts to chock!

Seriously don't buy these nipples for safety concerns in regards to your baby chocking!

The slow flow nipples are too slow for my 2 month old but the medium ones are way too fast. It just streams out. I can't imagine there is any difference between the medium and fast flow nipples. Very frustrating!

We used these from when my daughter was 6 months old until she was 8 months old. She started drinking from only sippy cups, but these nipples were great when she used her bottles!
