Our infant son was diagnosed with acid reflux so our doctor recommended adding rice cereal to his formula. This bottle with the Y nipple has been very accomodating to the thickness of the formula. The vent system seems to work well for us. Glass makes for easy clean up. I would recommend these bottles to parents having special feeding issues.

I exclusively breastfeed my baby but he does receive an occasional bottle of pumped breastmilk in these bottles. We have never had a single problem with them. My baby doesn't seem to mind the nipples and goes from breast to bottle easily. I love the fact that they are glass and that I don't have to worry about anything leaching into his milk. I also plan to use these with the sippy spout and handle later on, which makes the initial cost more worth it.

After researching a lot of different bottles, I chose the Born Free Glass Bottle for my third child. With my 2 other children I used other brands and found them to experience a lot of colic. With this bottle my new daughter hasn't experienced any colic. The design is great! It is easy to clean and I don't have to worry about all the chemicals in the plastic. You can't go wrong with this bottle. I wish it was around when I had my other children.

I just love these bottles. Until my breastfed daughter was 3 months she found gas very painful. We worried about starting her on bottles because we heard babies swallow more air with bottles. We were pleasantly surprised to find that our daughter wasn't taking in any more air than when she is breastfed. She also had no problem switching between my breast and these slow flow nipples. We also like that they are glass as who knows what plastic will turn out to be dangerous next. They're easy to wash in the dishwasher and the ventilation system is simple enough that you can pretty much quickly rinse in soapy water and move on.

I am all about the most natural and safe products for my children. I wanted to try these glass bottles for many reasons, glass is so much more sanitary plus all the added benefits of not using chemical leaching plastic really appealed to me. However when transitioning my 1 month old from the breast these bottles were really disappointing. She actually took well to the actual nipple however they created SO much gas and air swallowing she was spitting up so violently it was coming out her nose :( I stuck with the bottle for at least a week to give them a fair chance, with no improvement we decided it was time to try something new. I used the playtex drop in's with our son and thats what we switched to for her. She has been on these bottles for over 3 weeks now with NO incidence of violent spit ups or violent man sized burps.
I really wished these bottles worked for us, bummer :(

I am a nursing mother, so I wanted bottles with a wide nipple to help my son go back and forth. These worked wonderfully - they are my favorite bottles, and I tried a number of different brands. My only comment is that the slow-flow nipple is a faster flow than some of the other brands, like Playtex. I found the flow to be too much for my son until he was about two months old. However now he is still unable to handle the fast-flow but gets frustrated with the much slower Playtex nipples, and so these nipples are perfect!

I registered for these bottles because I read all the great reviews for them online. However, my husband has been working on transitioning our daughter from breast to bottle. Today was the worst: she finished 3 oz. and threw up half of it all over the couch. She was still hungry, so he fed her another 2 ounces and she was up for 7 hours crying from gas pains. I was listening to the air move through her tiny little intestines. While he was feeding her, my husband had to burp her every minute or two of feeding her so that the milk would even go down! Such a pain these bottles are ending up being!

I don't know what we're going to do, but I'm trying Avent and Playtex Ventaire Wide next. These are far too expensive for the amount of gas my little sunshine got from them! Don't waste your money!

My son liked this bottle the best because the nipple is super soft and more like, well, more like my nipples. At first I tried the Adiri bottles because they claim to be more like real breasts, which in shape they are, but the nipple is really very hard. My son has a strong suck and still couldn't manage with the Adiri bottle. Plus it's glass so I can put my breastmilk in the actual bottle and warm it up on the stove. Saves me that extra step I would have if I used plastic bottles.

Great bottle but.... later when your child gets older they break... I recommend buying the plastic Born Free's and then you can buy the sippy cup attachments and save your $$$... The bottles fit the sippy cup mouthpieces and handles so the transition is easier and $$$ is saved.

I purchased this bottle because of the many great reviews about it and I wanted something non-plastic. It works great for my newborn. No leaking problem. Easy to clean. Love the design that avoids baby from sucking air, which reduces the gas problem. I would definitely go for the 9 oz. glass bottle when my baby is ready for it.
