I am a very picky shopper and I love this crib. It's clean, simple, good looking, made with 'real wood' and very functional. It was easy to put together and our 5mo daughter has been sleeping great ever since it arrived. She even likes to play in it when she's awake.

My only problem with it was that it was VERY heavy... so be sure UPS brings it into your home for you.

This crib looks beautiful! My husband and I were looking for a contempory look to match the rest of the furniture we have in the house. But the only bad thing is that I'm short, so the crib rail in the front doesnt go down. So it's tough to put my baby in the crib. I have to teepy toe! U have to be tall enough to have this crib...

My wife and I received our crib and changing table recently but there are no assembly instructions with the crib. We contacted Babies R Us and Amy Coe to see if they could send/fax us a copy of the instructions, but they have been considerably less than helpful. [...]

I love this crib! I purchased this crib a year ago and have no regrets. My father in law and husband put the crib and matching changing table together in no time at all. I love the height of the rails and how they cannot fit body parts through the slats. Also love the extra storage on the bottom. I've had no trouble lowering the mattress or trouble with paint chipping as mentioned in some of the other reviews. My soon to be 1 year old even bites on the railing and the paint is still in tact. The only thing I will have to mention is you will want to make sure you are tall enough to reach your baby over the railing. The bed is tall with the extra drawer on the bottom and when the mattress is in the lowest position you need to be tall enough to reach over.

the directions are not very clear. they don't explain how to assemble things. the parts aren't labeled clearly. putting the crib together was a lot of trial and error. my husband had to modify one of the parts by drilling because the holes didn't match up correctly...

besides all this, the crib is still pretty cute and seems sturdy.

baby doesn't come for another couple months, so we'll see how it goes!

i agree there is a bit of an odor too, but that seems to be dissipating.

I purchased this crib after my Jardine crib was recalled. The quality difference was night and day. This is so sturdy and feels a lot more high end. Sure, you can spend tons more for a similar design- but I really don't see why that is necessary. This one was pretty hard to put together- but once assembled, it's great. Since my other crib was recalled, this crib has held a 2 year old easily. I haven't noticed any abnormal wear and tear. Converting to a toddler bed is going to be a huge ordeal from the look of the instructions, but I just love the modern look of this crib. I am very happy and satisfied with it!

Purchased it about 10 months ago. It was very difficult to assemble, but once we assembled it, we noticed that it was defective. 2 more crib returns later, the crib was still not perfect, but I needed my son a place to sleep, so I decided to keep it. I regret it. Adjusting the height setting was a pain, the hardware is really cheap and it just damages the crib. The crib looks nice but is made very cheaply and has a lot of defects straight from the factory. Now, after 10 months, the paint started chipping, so now I'm worried about the safety of my son. The crib damages very easily and I just really regret buying it. Please do not buy it. Not woth the money. Invest in Stokke, all the products that I have from them, are super high in qulity and durability and will last for a very long time, plus they are EASY to assemble.

Once it's assembled, it's sturdy and beautiful but it was hard to assemble because all the haedware is inside the crib and human hands don't fit between the rails, it was hard to turn the screws. Then when I dropped a screw it was hard to get out because I couldn'y climb in to get it. It took me about 3 hours to assemble it by myself. The instructions were clear and easy to follow though. I'm just not looking forward to having to drop the mattress any time soon because I don't know how I will be able to screw in the crews at a lower position where I won't be able to reach from the top. Also beware Max weight is only 50 pounds when you convert to bed.

I was looking for a modern crib with solid construction that didn't cost the exhorbitant prices I was finding everywhere else on the internet. I was lucky enough to get this crib before it went out of stock and am in LOVE with it. My husband put it together in no time, and I was able to store all the blankets, baby linens, etc. in the roomy bottom drawer. My only regret is that I didn't get the changer and am waiting for it to come back in stock to buy it ASAP. You won't be disappointed. A great looking and sturdy crib for a great price!

We bought this crib when our 6m old was totally crowded in a mini crib. As many others, we liked the modern look for a fraction of the price of all the modern cribs we saw. It's sturdy, really looks great and assembled fast. The storage beneath is small, but could fit a fair amount of linens/toys, and it would anyways be a waste not to have it. Just take off the knobs when your child starts crawling, they are kind of sharp.
