      My daughter really loves this book. I do wish that the characters talked, but it's still a really great book. The other sound effects are really great and the games are fun. It's a classic book and my daughter thoroughly enjoys it. She wanted to read it as soon as we got home from the store and the book certainly didn't disappoint.

      Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

        Comments about LeapFrog TAG Activity Storybook - Olivia:

        We love every Tag book except this one. When you touch the characters in the story, they DO NOT TALK. The characters just make mumbling noises. A LeapFrog representative said it is because the author wanted to preserve the child's "imaginative voice" so they didn't want specific voices assosciated with the characters. LeapFrog was happy to get the title for the Tag library so they they allowed it. Now, there is an Olivia cartoon, so the characters have voices anyway and we are stuck with an audio file where the pictures don't talk. There is nothing on the packaging to indicate that the character illustrations do not talk, so I wanted to let you know. My daughter's favorite part of her Tag books is hearing the pictures talk, so I would not have bought this book if I'd known the characters don't speak when you touch the illustrations. Since the pen only hold five at a time and we hav more than that, I had already thrown away the packaging before I realized they don't speak, so now I am stuck with it....

        Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

          My daughter received this book for Christmas and it actually seems to be her favorite out of the 5 that she has. The games are really creative and fun and of course the story is well written. The only downfall I see is that there is a limited amount of content in the book, but sometimes I think less can be better!

          Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
