Took this puppy home on a saturday and began to put this thing together. I recommend the 2 hour battery charger as the one that comes with this takes a full 24 hours.Got most of it assembled and ofcourse was missing a crucial piece. [...].After all is said and done the thing looks impressive but it really struggles on grass and any incline. Pretty disappointed.My kid is only 21 months but he is already a pro. He loves getting in and out of it and playing the radio. Overall...its worth the [$] pricetag....not the 379 i paid for it.

I like the Escalade. I had the older version and decided to upgrade - so I sold my old one and purchased this newer style. I love the look of this car. It is much sleeker than the other version. I'm very dissapointed though because I lost all of the extras that the other one had. There is no microphone, you can't read the radio station (no screen) or no CD with prerecorded music, no power indicator, etc... The is very little information detailing these changes so it's a little deceiving. I just assumed it would have all the same things-if not more.

We started out having the pink barbie car and we had this for two years. We upgraded to the black one and it works just as good. My daughter is EIGHT and she still drives around in it. It will soon be time to be passing it off to her brother, but until then she's enjoying it. The pros on this item is that of all the different brands out there, not many can carry two children in the 20-40 pound range (each) and still move at a decent speed, this one does. the cons is its probably one of the biggest and heaviest ones out there...but if its going to move around two average sized kids it needs to be. Never leave the battery in the car over night, always take it out and charge it...this ensures less problems with battery life and corrosion. The doors have to be lifted up and out to open and close. The radio works but because its searching for signals you will get alot of non working stations before you find one that works. Think back to your old car stereo back in the day, where it wouldn't automatically go to the signaled station but sometimes you'd hit the button and hear nothing. Because its not digital dial, your child gets easily frustrated because you dont know if its working or not, and you have no idea where on the dial you are.
Its an expensive item and people are going to complain. But if you don't mind spending the money, its a good item.

VERY UPSET ORDERED THIS FOR MY SON FOR HIS BIRTHDAY AND WAS TOLD IT WAS INSTOCK YET MY ORDER WAS CANCELED EVEN THOUGH I CALLED THE STORE TO MAKE SURE IT WAS THERE. CUSTOMER SERVICE LIED TO ME AND SENT ME ON THE RUN AND I STILL DONT HAVE MT MONEY OR MY SONS TOY I RECOMEND NOONE SPEND THIER MONEY HERE. THEY ARE LIARS AND DONT APPRECIATE YOUR BUSINESS.

Not too many parts and the instructions are very easy to follow. The only issue is that some of the screws are in very tight places and difficult to screw in. Having a cordless or battery powered screwdriver is a HUGE plus when putting it together.

My son loves this car. His grandfather got it for him when he was 6. He loves cars. His older sister use to ride him around in their Barbie Jeep and it was time for him to have his own. His Grandpa beat us to buying it. This was his favorite Toy and now that he is 8 yrs old he still loves it and still fits well in hit. He is pretty thin and the jeeps still has plenty of room. This was a great investment and his favorite gift from grandpa. The orginal battery still works fine and he gets to use it year round on nice days. The speed is just right.
