I was a little hesitant to buy this bed after reading some of the reviews, but it looked just like what we wanted in the picture and so we went ahead and bought it. We are SO glad we did!! My husband put it together by himself and said it was not hard at all, despite what some other people said. My almost 3 year old absolutely LOVES her new bed! It is good quality (I felt better about this than a plastic bed), and is great for the price! We would have paid a lot more if we knew how perfect it was. She has fallen out of it only once, just because she turned around in her bed, but it is so low to the ground so she wasn't hurt at all. We love the side rails by her head, they work well. We would definitely recommend this bed to anyone who is looking for a toddler bed! And there is plenty of room for her to grow.

I bought this bed for my 18 month old to sleep in when we were visiting family. It was very easy to put together and very visually appealing. That night my little guy was a little freaked out by his new big boy bed since he only recently had switched from a crib so he slept with mommy but I noticed that every night he was waking up crying and coming to my bed, at first I assumed it was nerves but not so much. So I stayed up and watched him and in one night he fell out of the bed three times before coming to my bed. He has never had this problem with any other toddler bed so I hadn't even thought of it but sure enough every night for the rest of the time we were there he fell out of it. When we returned home he slept in his bed just fine and hasn't fallen out of it at all. I would assume this would be a great, sturdy bed for a child who doesn't toss and turn at night but I wouldn't recommend it for younger children or children who move around a lot in there sleep.

I researched reviews on this bed and it got good ratings so I decided purchased it for my daughter, who we were transitioning from a crib to toddler bed. Once the bed is put together its adorable and the quality is average for the inexpensive price you are going to pay for it. I suggest going to a furniture store and spending a bit more on a bed that is not so difficult to put together. I am handy for a woman and this bed took 3 hours to put together, very frustrating! [...] furniture is much easier. None of the support pegs on the bottom frame stayed in placed and it was a balancing act to hold them together. In addition, NONE of the bolt threadings were lining up. Once you position them through the pre-drilled holes you cannot see where they meet and have to try to connect them all by feel. Poorly designed if you ask me. So overall I would not recommend buying this product.

Our daughter loved this bed from the first night she slept in it. We didn't have any trouble putting it together, but I would recommend that you have it up against a wall while you are trying to put all the slats togehter. Ours kept coming out on each end until we put it up against the wall so I could hold it while my husband fit the slats. It is sturdy enough for my daughter and myself to get into.

This is a great bed. It didn't take long to put together and a perfect size for my little girl's room. My daughter took to it right away and it is very easy for her to get in and out of. If your looking for a great transition bed, you have found it.

I replaced my grand daughters crib and it was a big hit. It transformed the room from baby to big girl room with out even changing the crib Bedding. The bed seems to be very sturdy and comfortable with her keeping her own matress which I am sure helped the transition.

I bought this toddler bed for my 2 year old daughter. It only took 4 days to ship it to us. Even in the box, it is very lightweight (I carried it up 3 flights of stairs with no problem). If you can read- you can assemble it. Easy, easy, easy assembly. My daughter loves this bed. She thinks she's a big girl now. She can get in and out with ease. We haven't had any problems with her rolling out of the bed or getting her hands, finger, feet, or toes stuck in the rails. It's a great transition bed. I'd buy it again.

Our two-year-old daughter loves her new bed. When the box arrived, I was surprised by how light it was, and as a result I don't trust it enough to sit on it myself, but it went together easily and is certainly sturdy enough for a toddler. It is so light, though, that she can move it herself, and we aren't too confident that the frame would hold up to her jumping on the mattress.

The transition from crib to bed is helped by the fact that this bed is low enough for her to get in and out of by herself. We were initially concerned about her falling out of bed because the side rails aren't full length, and she did fall out once (in about a month so far), but it's a short fall and she didn't get hurt. She likes the bed so much that she willingly climbs into it on her own at bedtime. There's plenty of room for a couple more years of growing, too.

Reasonable price, reasonable quality, solid satisfaction: all in all, it's a good buy, but it could be more solid.

This is a great bed. It is a good price, looks nice. Like big people furnature.The rails are a bit short height wise for a standard matress and the foot board has a big gap were I am worried about my sons leg getting lodged in it (when he is in his room alone). My son has used this bed for 3 nights and he is a very active sleeper. Every night he has fallen out atleast 2 times. He is too big for his crib, so I may have to use another option or pillows on the floor.
