Our baby loves this toy! The music is very soothing, sound quality is great, it's soft and cute, and I still like the songs a lot even after listening to them over and over and over. Helps to calm our baby down if she is being a little fussy. We usually take it with us when we leave the house. I just wish it played longer than 5 minutes! Will probably purchase as a baby shower gift in the future.

My son received this toy when he was born, and he still goes to sleep with it. We had to replace the batteries only once and it still works perfectly. I love the fact that it has a volume control, an off switch and that it's washable. We love the seahorse!

I recieved this as a gift before my daughter was born. It's light is bright enough to use as a nightlight but not bright enough to hurt your eyes in the dark. It's melodies are wonderful and soothing, and it plays for a long time before shutting off. It also doesn't play the same song the whole time, it plays multiple songs. My daughter loved her till the batteries ran out! I need to get new ones.. but all in all we love this toy!

From the first time my baby laid eyes on this seahorse, he was smitten. He sleeps with him every night and marvels wide-eyed at his glowy musical friend. He is three months old now, and has learned to activate it himself, adding a new level of joy to the experience. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if the first word he ever utters is "seahorse".

I noticed some people gave the Seahorse a negative review because they thought it was too loud. I also thought this at first but then I found the volume control! So glad I did because my daughter LOVES her seahorse. She is now 20 months and still uses it everyday. If she wakes in the middle of the night she turns on her seahorse and falls back to sleep!

The music is great for falling asleep too. The light is soft not to bright. The material is very nice. My 12 mth old uses it every night to go to sleep. It doesn't stay on all that long but long enough. Older babies can activate it. It doesn't take to much pressure on tummy to start. We also take it with us it she is going to sleep someplace. So the size is great. Fits in my diaper bag.

My oldest child got this for his first Christmas from Santa and it's wonderful because it helps him sleep. It seems to give him a sense of security and I think that he likes music. We have a 6 week old baby that I'm going to buy this for today online because our 3 1/2 year old is STILL using this! I don't want to pry this toy away from my toddler and the baby seems to like to listen to this when he's drifting off to sleep. The only drawback that we've found to this is that the baby monitor picks this up loud and clear when our oldest child rolls over on it in the middle of the night! I can deal with that, though, because it keeps him asleep and our oldest child has had problems falling asleep on his own. Thank you Fischer Price for such a nice toy that is durable, useful, and loved so much!

I bought this for my daughter when she was 3 weeks old. The music never lasted long enough for her at that point and she never cuddled with it like I had hoped. Now she is 7 months and I still use it when she is going down for her nap. I do wish the music lasted 10 minutes as opposed to 5.

We received this product as a shower gift. Our 5-month old daughter loves it! It stays in her crib and it sings her to sleep every night. Having her fall asleep on her own is a miracle. The music is soft and soothing, not loud and abrasive like so many toys. The soft glow of the light is just right, not too bright. This toy is safe, as there are no buttons that can fall off, or get chewed off. The musical feature can also be turned off. Battery life is good considering how long it plays. The cloth is very soft and feels of good quality. This is a great product and wonderful gift to receive. I am considering purchasing a second seahorse to keep at the sitter's. Excellent job Fisher-Price!
