    Fun, Fashion, Fab!

    I bought this for my 2 year old daughter. At first she played with it minimally, and wasn't so interested, but children develop skills like these so quickly...just a few short months later she plays with it EVERY day...often more than once a day. It really is among her favorite activities.

    I did remove the smaller shoes and hats since she's under 3. I also make sure she plays with it only when I'm with her. (She prefers it that way...she hands me one of the dolls and she dresses the other).

    It's so fun how she has favorite outfits she always goes back to, (memory development), has learned to place the items correctly lined up, (motor skills), and chooses various tops and bottoms, (color matching).

    The magnets are strong enough to truly hold the clothing in place as dolls stand in their stands.

    The choices are many, as far as outfits.

    There's no lid, but all the pieces fit easily into the various compartments. It's less than 1" tall laying flat, so it's very easy to slide under a bed, bookcase, whatever to keep it out of the way w/o spilling.

    Easily a five star item that will last long enough to keep for HER children to play with..we love Melissa and Doug pretend food for her play kitchen too!

    My 3yr old loved this but it was not typical of the usual Melissa and Doug packaging. It had the cutest painted wooden box, complete with compartments for the little pieces but with NO LID! Unfortunately it was buy a Rubbermaid container for them or exchange them for something else. With three kids- it was a no-brainer that those pieces would get lost. :( So sad that they would forget to add something vital like this...

            My 3yr old daughter loved this. It was her favorite gift!! She wants to get it out everyday. The lack of a lid is annoying but I just put it all in a mini plastic tub (with a lid) until she gets older and can manage the cute pink tray. But she LOVES this and it keeps her occupied for awhile. I love Melissa and Doug toys! The best! Good, classic stuff!

                    My 3yr old loves this! She received it as a gift and couldn't wait to open it up. She loves to make up stories about where the Girls are going and changes there outfits accordingly.
                    I do have to agree with the others though, that the lid is not great. We have to be careful not to lose some of the smaller pieces.
                    I even bought my niece this after seeing how much my daughter liked it.

                    my 2yr old daughter loves it; the dolls stand up well & little fingers can easily put on the clothes whether the doll stands r lays flat. Very cute & well made.
                    The only thing tha would improve this is a lid. The little pieces won't stay around long without a decent container o keep them in, and without a lid the box isn't. Uch of a container. It'd be great to-go too, if it had a lid.

                        My 3 year old loves these dolls. I love that they have lots of options for outfits (unlike some other "paper dolls"). They are even fun for me to play with!
                        They seem quite durable...exept when our dog gets a hold of them, as she did with a couple of the shoes! But, of course, that is not the fault of the product!

                          My step mother is a childcare provider in her home and she had bought this Melissa and Doug Magnetic wooden doll set around Christmas time for her kid's, Well my daughter saw this over the weekend and fell in love with it, this is so great, so much better then those awful paper doll's that I use to play with..BUT would never buy for her, NOW my Step Mom's came with a LID....my did not and I see that another reviewer had an issue with that as well...I think it is alittle strange for it not to have something to keep all the piece's in when it's put away. Overall Very happy with this product!
