My son wants to be Spongebob this year and this one was the only costume I could find for him that wasn't that expensive. It is a okay costume,made of thin foamy material,he has been running around the house in it and has already damaged it :) teared little bit of the neck part. I mean I don't know what to really expect from halloween costumes but as long it works for my son :)

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
