Just picked up all three battle packs for my 5 year-old nephew, and he could not be happier. These sets are a great leap forward in play value with the addition of the new shooting blasters. They shoot studs a good distance without excessive force. The sets are fun to build and play with. The design of the troopers and small vehicles is spot on and the mix is great for army building. Even the grandparents had a good time joining the fun of pretend battle with working blasters and knocking troopers or droids down.

This set is handicapped the same way a large percentage of this new series of LEGO Star Wars sets are. A couple of years ago, LEGO released a slightly larger version of this exact Star Wars vehicle. There are different minifies included, and you do get the new micro blasters that shoot a one-stud circular piece. Get ready for parents to vacuum up hundreds of those pieces out of the carpets! I'm very disappointed that LEGO is recycling so many sets and "dumbing them down" by making them slightly smaller or with more simplified construction. The new Jedi Fighter is another one that is a perfect example. They have released this kit with very minor changes over half a dozen times! But this set is the most egregiously simplified of any of them - so far. At least Toys R Us are now price matching the LEGO Store and web site!

Great set, Great figures
from fort collins
When I saw a set with four Kashyyk Troopers, I knew I wanted that, and I was not disappointed. The Troops have very nice printing, and look amazing next to my other troops. The speeder, while small, is still good as an army builder, Because if you do not mind making the speeder inaccurate to the movie, you can move the guns attached to the speeder higher up and put two move troopers in the front section of the speeder. In addition, the design team did a great job recreating the set to the movie, as well as ensuring it remains structurally stable. Pros: Great troops, with designs and all The speeder. Cons: None really, this is a great set.

About Me Grandparent
My grandsons 8 and 5 love this product. they play constantly with it and the directions are so easy to follow even for the young. They don't even ask me to help them put it together.
It's a bit small and it doesn't take a ling time to build, but it's absolutely worth buying. If you're buying this for a child it great, because it allows you to actually play with it as it has guns that actually shoot. So you can make a battle scene useing the minifigures. As with every lego set, the build quality to great, but the main thing here are the minifigures. They or rather their armor looks amazing. The paint job is very high quality.
from Las Vegas
This is an AWESOME battlepack!! The figures are incredible and the vehicle is surprisingly good. The 41st Elite Corps and the Kashyyyk Trooper have amazing printing. Personally, I think that the 41 Elite Trooper is the best clone that LEGO has ever made. As for the featured build, the swamp speeder, this is a good and solid build. It's nothing too special, but LEGO did a good job scaling it down. The only complaint I have is that I really don't like the blasters. They look REALLY dumb and stupid. Overall, I really like this set and it is great for recreating Revenge of The Sith scenes on Kashyyyk.
YES! Accurate Kashyyyk Troopers!
This is an overall great set, but the best pare are the Kashyyyk Troopers! The 2005 ones were ok; the colors were off, and their helmets didn't look great, but these new ones are AWESOME! Their colors are just perfect; they are so movie accurate! Some of the best minifigures in a battle pack ever!!! The swamp skimmer is very cool, but I don't ever remember seeing it in the movie. It's a great build, much smaller than the original ones, and it looks more sleek and small. It has room for 2 troops to sit, which I liked, and the fan rotates, and is fully functional. Overall, I would give this set a 9/10.
Awesome Army Builder
This set is great. I don't know about other people, but I got this set purely because of the minifigures. I have loads of variants of clone troops, but these 4 guys are my favourites. The camo detail on them is awesome, the design of them is awesome, everything is awesome about them. They are great if you want to build an army. The sized-down swamp speeder can be a nice background model for an army as well. It is pretty cool, and a nice size. The stud guns are cool; the range of them is awesome! It is also nice to have a full clone battle pack instead of a 2v2 battle pack like the older ones. The first battle pack I ever got was set 7668 Rebel Scout Speeder from 2008 with 4 rebel troopers, a turret, and a speeder which the turret fits on to! So... Pros -Minifig detail -Swamp Speeder -Great army builder Cons -A frequent loss of studs from the stud guns This set can really help you if you are building an army. It has a nice feeling to it. Thanks for reading my review. Bye!

Back after two years, and this set
This is my first product review in almost two years because I never noticed the Request Desktop Site button on the tablet format. Anyway, I got this set as a Christmas gift. The box is smaller than the battle packs prior to 2013, and the building instructions are smaller as well. The Swamp Speeder itself is the smallest of the three versions, the biggest being the Toys "R" Us exclusive set from 2010. It's about 4.5" long and 3.5 inches wide and 2.5 inches tall, but it still has room for two Minifigures. One main difference (besides the sliders on the bottom instead of wheels) is that the two (instead of four) cannons on it are blasters for the figures. The figures themselves are very well done, with plenty of camouflage detail and armor details and such (love the green visors!). Theey all have the same head with the determined face we first saw in 2013 with the Clone Troopers vs Droidekas set. The Scout troopers have a new head mold exclusively for them, unlike the previous version from the 2005 Turbo Tank set which used an Imperial Scout Trooper's helmet painted green. All in all, this is possibly my favorite battle pack of 2014 (I'm an indecisive guy), and I'd recommend this to anyone into Lego Star Wars or just Star Wars in general. The only bad thing about this set is the price ($12.99 US) which isis $3 higher than what the first battle packs cost seven years ago. Oh, we'll, that's inflation for you. Keep on building, everyone!
OMG SO AMAZING!!!!......except.......
Kashyyk Battle Pack!!!! YES!!!!!!! Finally, year after grueling year we get to see Lego remake the 41st Legion troopers with new blasters, printing, and altogether feel. The camouflage printing on the figures is just plain AMAZING!!!!(as seen in the title). The speeder is very impressive, as it is perfectly proportioned for this set. It has a nice feature that makes the speeder look afloat (thanks to the clear 2X2 pieces on the bottom). But the downfall of this set (for MOC builders/collectors), is the new blasters. I think they look okay on the speeder as a feature more than anything else, but definitely not in a minifigs hand. Anyways, Pros. and Cons.: Pros: -printing -4 41st Legion clones -pretty cheap for what you get -not too shabby for army builder Cons: -blasters (considering I want to buy multiples, so I"ll eventually run into the problem of not having enough of the older blasters) That just about wraps it up! Thanks for reading!
