Bought as a birthday gift. I should have read the reviews! You can't see anything, or focus well on anything. It really is junk. Very flimsy too...not sturdy at all. Huge disappointment. DO NOT BUY THIS MICROSCOPE.

This product looks great. Comes with a carrier and lots of items. However the microscope does not work. Do not purchase.

This is a TOY for a 2-3yr. old, not a microscope. No matter what you put under the lense, it looks the same. A completely worthless purchase for a student. We have a 9 year old interested in science.

This microscope is C**P!!!!! We bought this for my daughter for Christmas as a gift from Santa (too bad we didn't read reviews first)....and again it's C**P!!!. You see the same thing no matter what you have under the microscope....nothing!! Tried to return it with receipt and in the required time frame and were told we were out of luck because we didn't have the box. Wrote 3 emails to Toys R Us and after 3 weeks they said they were sorry but there is nothing they could do for us. Really!!! How bout you stand behind the products you manufacture!!! They have lost a customer. Save your money and go somewhere else.

This product is c**p. We purchased this for my daughter for Christmas as a gift from Santa, and again it's c**p!! We tried to return it to Toys R Us, with the receipt and within the required time frame, but we did not have the box it came in. They told us we were out of luck because we did not have the box. Emailed them and again was told there was nothing they could do for me (oh and it only took them 3 weeks to get back to me, after I emailed them 3 times!!!). So glad Toys R Us stands behind the products they manufacture. Don't by this product, save your money and go else where.

Huge waste of money! Do not buy this product. It doesn't work! You cannot see anything, slide or no slide. Christmas gift for homeschooling kids, we are so disappointed! I wish I had known about these other reviews, and it is too late to return it. This product should be reported and not even available to sell!

This is a terrible product. Bought for Christmas and now have tears because it is going back! Read the other reviews. They are all correct (unless they are the 2 people that actually like this-?) Does not focus, you see the same dusty blob when you put a slide in as you do with out a slide. Slide holder is loose and falls off. The case was nice- LOL...No instructions, no way to call for help- probably because they know there is no help for the junk they are selling.

Opened as big present Christmas Day. What a disapointment. Was unusable. All the big hype on opening then the big let down. Child cried all day long. Toys are Us should stop selling Edu Science Toys they are junk. I wish the company President was at my home Christmas morning to see the disapointment on my childs face I felt betraded by Toys are US and returning this gift for a cash refund will be the last time I or my family will shop there. Side bar, They even sell a 15 mounth replacment warranty what a rip. they don't seem to mind disapointing kids with this junk!
