Description



The imagination of Dr. Seuss meets the classic animation of Chuck Jones in this adaptation of one the doc's most beloved books, HORTON HEARS A WHO!     This movie is THE BEST. I have 4 kids ages elem. to high school and they ALL loved it. Great message and funny, smart, fantastic artistic element. What is missing from this is the usual bad words, evil characters and rebellious attitudes that you find in so many of the children's movies today. I can't recommend this enough for ages 1-101. You must see it for yourself to believe how great it is.

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

        We bought this thinking our 19 month old who loves Horton would just love it. After 7 minutes of watching "Horton hatches the egg" a fish jumps out of the water and blows his own head off. We couldn't believe it. We got on line and started looking at more reviews and I guess this has even more violence in the other shows on this DVD. It was unbelievable that we watched the one that had the least violence. We were able to return the DVD. This DVD is not rated, but found with the children DVD's.

        Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

            This is not the new movie with Jim Carrey. This is dark and "scary".
