My 2 year old son got this for Christmas and has enjoyed it!! Love that it has two magnetic "stamps" they can use to draw with. Thats probably his favorite thing about it. This Doodler is light weight yet still very sturdy and well made. Will be a great toy to take on road trips to play with in the car. Definitey satisfied with the purchase!

Well, it wasn't me. It was my wife, God Bless her. She got strep throat and couldn't talk. You ever try making those little notes on scraps of paper that you just can't find everywhere? And when you go out? Where you gonna find them? Or a pen? Well, this does it! She communicated with me just fine for several days till she could talk!!! Let me tell you, I am sure this was not what the makers had in mind, but we got 3 of these puppies to put in reserve just in case the one we have breaks!!! It is a MUST!!!

It definitely fun to draw and erase and repeat. Doesn't get old. The stampers are added fun, but can get lost quite quickly. Other versions come with stencils. How come it's not easy to find stencils to purchase?

I own a day care where I care for children 0-3 years of age. I bought this toy so that the toddlers could start learning writing skills. It is working just as I had hoped. The children seem to absolutely love it! The only complaint I have is trying to keep up with the triangle and circle stamp. I wish these were attached like the pen is.

This is the perfect toy for my son. The toy recommends 3+, but my two and a half year old loves it, and has no difficulty erasing, or even putting the stamps back where they belong. I don't like my son coloring with crayons in the house because he tends to use them on other surfaces, and he isn't very impressed with Crayola Color Wonder books. This toy is perfect! We use it to teach him shapes, colors, and letters. He likes to draw for us, but also loves to ask us to draw things for him. He loves to have us draw and giggle "Erase!" as he wipes it clean.Like some have mentioned, it will eventually stop erasing as clean but for only [$], it isn't an inconvenience to buy a new one every once in a while if necessary. My son literally plays with this for HOURS every day and shows no signs of boredom, even after having it for weeks. I would recommend to anyone.

My grandchildren love this. They play with it for hours at a time. I use it to reinforce what they have learned, by drawing shapes and writing words they know.

My 3 1/2 year old daughter has the old version, and still plays with it all of the time. The shape drawer was hard for her to open when when she was younger, and the shapes would get lost. She would drag the Doodle Pro around by the pen. The pen is still attached. It kept her entertained for hours! I bought the new version for my neighbor's 2 year old. Now the magnetic shapes stay in place. Great Toy!!!

I bought this for xmas for my 19-month grandson. As soon as he unwrapped it he started doodling and using the stamps.

I wanted a gift that would encourage artistic and creative abilities. This performed exactly how I hoped it would. It is a lot of fun for a low price.

My daughter loves this toy! For a 20 month old, she'll lay on the floor with it for a fair amount of time. I like that she can create and draw without the mess of "crayons" on the walls. We don't have to hold the "paper" still while she draws which is helpful so she can have some independence with it. She loves to erase the "paper" and start over. It can travel easy, it's good for the car too. The magnetic shapes are helping her with shape recognition as well. I have loved watching her learn how to hold the "pen" and how holding it has helped her motor skills. As with any magnetic based drawing toy, it lacks longevity. As it ages it stops erasing as cleanly but for the fun and creativity she is getting out of the price I feel it is a good buy. I don't believe in buying gender specific toys when it can be helped but because this toy would not last multiple children we got her the pink/purple version.
