We purchased this jet for my 8 year old son for Christmas. He absolutly loves it. Some of the parts fell off during crash landings and some rough play, but they do snap back on. I have had to explain that if the plane keeps "crashing" the pieces might break, so he is being a little more careful now. Overall I am happy with the toy. I honestly was not sure of how sturdy it would be when I bought it and I must say I am plesently surprised. I don't think it could be anymore sturdy unless if was alot more expensive or made of something other than plastic.

I am using this model as a reference to build a larger scale RC jet. This model is an actual scale of 1:32. The balance is excellent and it looks great in my Living room. Two things I did not like, 1st the tip wings clip on was a little tough and after being on seems flimsy. 2nd the rear landing gear on one side seemed very difficult to open and I worry it will break sooner than later.
I would suggest to make wing tips stronger, better landing gear, and state it is a scale model on packaging. movable flaps and better sticking Decals as well.
Not just Kids play or keep these around.

My 4 year old received this as a birthday gift and was so excited to play with it until 2 pieces broke off the first time he played with it. First, one of the back wheels wouldn't stay down and then it snapped off completely. The second piece was up near the cockpit and is more cosmetic but we're annoyed that it broke none the less. Definitely will not be purchasing this for any of his friends.

I purchased this product for my nephew's sixth birthday. He was extremely excited by the gift. It has landing gear that retracts when "flying." The only problem we encountered was trying to attached the wings. It is a nice feature that they are made to come off on high impact but took some time to figure out how they attach.

Only large scale F-22 out there so for the money it ain't bad, much better than the F-18 they make. As far as another "made in [...] piece of trash that someone mentioned earlier, can't disagree more.. Construction is ok so for all that are having assembly problems, either don't break the nubs during assembly or don't let the kids ride it lol. Yes it is a good toy! To me it's about an 8 & up item.

The jet is pretty sturdy. It was a little difficult to put on the lateral fins on top of the plane and you had to partially undo two of the screws on the wings to get the wingtips on, but once on, everything stayed on very well.

It is made well. It can hold most slim 3 3/4" figures. Bulky ones will not fit. The landing gear is solid also. Overall, I am very happy with the purchase.

This is a poorly constructed toy that fell apart the minute my 6 year old played with it. The "minor assembly" that is required means the tail fins and the wings need to be snapped in place. But they don't stay. They fall off as soon as you pick up the jet. I ended up super gluing them on just so my boys could play with it. For [$] I expect a toy that doesn't fall apart right out of the box.

The jet looks great in the package (that's why we purchased it). However the construction is shotty. The wings fall off easily, the landing gear broke within 10 minutes.

If you were going to buy it and just put it on display, then it would be fine, but it can not withstand any amount of play. Total bummer.

Nice plane, but has external stores and hard points to be removed. Am going to repaint it as an operational REAL F-22A!
