We had to give her different ear phones though because the ones it came with are to big for a 7-8 year old. I only wish that we coukd search through the songs faster it only shows one songs at a time. It runs off of one AA battery.

OMG! I thought this was the cuttest gift for Christmas, and just knew that my daughter would love it. Once I chose the right songs to upload on her mp3 player, and downloaded them, all was well, until....Until the darn thing got stuck on song #4 and wouldn't budge! I was made as h-e-double hockey stick!! As soon as Toys-R-Us opens, I'm returning that junk!!!!!!!!

I bought this for my 5 year old as I thought she'd think it was a cute way to listen to music. it's impossible to load songs on, it won't accept a lot of songs that are in a standard iTunes format. I will take this back tomorrow and buy her some apple product for 2x or 4x the price and be VERY happy I did. I feel bad for anyone that has this or tries to use it. i'm pretty tech savvy and this thing sux. I wish I had read the reviews because looking on here, EVERYONE said it's terrible. Lesson learned.

This thing DRAINS the batteries down within 2 hours, and I mean that it runs even the most expensive and trustworthy batteries out in that time. That alone makes this product not worth it. I was fortunate enough that I did not have trouble downloading songs to it but then again I have only downloaded a few songs and it died.When I replaced the battery for about the 100th time it stopped turning on unless it was plugged into the computer. To add insult to injury, Toys R Us won't take it back unless I want the same piece of garbage. Nice product Toys R Us! Overprice this piece of junk and then don't take it back when it won't work. Taking my business elsewhere.If I could give this product less than 1 star I would. Listen to the other reviews, this is seriously one of the worst things you could waste [$] on.

Was hard to load song on it and then when you used the button it kept wanting to skip to the next item. We have other mp3 player and our very easy to use. My 10 year old tried helping and she had a hard time to.

Music must be MP3 format. If it's not MP3 format the player will not play the file/track. I used Daniusoft audio converter to change file/track to the MP3 foramt and it was easy to do. There a better players out there with easier controls, that cost less. Stay away from this palyer. Hello kitty name just isn't worth it.
