We have this seat for our daughter, now 2 months. It's a great seat & top rated 1 in safety. I love Cubes pattern because it has a very modern, chic look. Included newborn insert is a plus. It is comfy & helps keep her properly seated without slouching/or head flopped like other seats. My daughter doesn't sweat in it yet. I had Evenflo with my son, and he sweat a lot in it in summer. They will in any seat. I'm 5'1 and very petite...this carseat is very easy to carry, install, and get out.
Only downsides: 1) The visor is okay. I use a blanket to block sun with a carseat anyway. 2) doesn't fit in cart(not supposed to do that anyway)
Overall, ...best carseat. I recommend this and matching stroller

I bought this carseat for my third child. I have used Graco and Evenflo and wanted something different as Graco is all you ever see out and about. I love that this seat is one of safest out there. It fits great in our crossover SUV. I bought the Easy Traveller from Maclaren to go with it for now, as I don't like bulky strollers which I learned from the first two children, and didn't want to take up too much trunk space for large shopping trips.

I don't use it in grocery carts so I'm not sure what the complaints previously are about, I just use my bijorn style carrier or infantismo when I go into the store.

I really like this seat. My daughter seems very comfortable in it and sleeps very well. I've seen reviews about how it won't fit in the front of a shopping cart. That is one thing I LOVE. It's made so it won't. I believe putting the car seat in the front part of the basket is very dangerous.
I love how with just a couple of clicks you know the seat is securely in the base. One negative - the reason for 4 stars instead of 5 - is the sweating. Our daughter did sweat in this seat. We realized if you un-velcro the sunshade in the back then the air-conditioning vents will blow through making it cooler. Make sense?

Tried a Gracco sung ride first from a friend, and could not get it installed without it being really loose. God the Chicco from our registry and installed it without any problems!!!! Awesome!! Haven't had the baby yet, but im sure its going to be great.

We chose this carseat so that we can use it for longer than other carseats will work. We like the styling of the carseat/travel system, we chose the cubes design. What I don't like is that this carseat doesn't fit in many shopping carts which makes it difficult especially with a newborn! I have to choose where I take the baby based on who has a cart that her carseat will fit in! Also, the carseat is so large that it barely fits in our suv let alone our compact car! (it only fits in the middle of our Ford Focus while both front seats are adjusted nearly all the way to the front) Not sure if we would have registered for this product again, especially based on the high price compared to other models.

We have a 4 month old baby and I absolutely love this seat!! It's easy to get in and out of the base and stroller. The stroller closes up very easily even though it takes up tons of room in the trunk. I really like the the quick adjustable straps, they make getting baby in and out sooo easy. I also like the newborn insert that protects the baby's head (don't need to buy something seperate!) I'd recommend this seat to anyone. I do have a few problems getting the seat to fit in shopping carts and wish the sun visor was a bit longer.

We have a 2 month old and so far we love this car seat. It seems well built and durable. This is something I wouldn't go cheap on, cause it's your babies life! Our baby sleeps well in it too. You don't even need to buy anything to put in it when they are a newborn, cause it supports their head well. I bought extra padding and ended up taking it back cause the padding it comes with is a lot better. It's a little heavy, but I think all car seats are. The visor is the only bad part. It doesn't do anything to protect them from the sun, but it's not that big of a deal.

This is my favorite item that I received off of my registry as it is so easy to use. Cleans with a damp cloth, and I love the sun visor that pulls out, great for outdoor activities like the zoo. It clicks quickly in and out of its base in the car and in/out of the matching stroller as well. My husband and I were wondering if loading up would take a lot of effort and time since we are first time parents, but I would recommend this in a heartbeat to anyone who is intimidated by all those "boat" sized seats and strollers out there. Get the matching light weight stroller that fits in my tiny Civic's trunk - totally worth it!

This is the 3rd infant carseat I've bought and I love it the most. I knew what I was looking for and this has it. The latch is very easy to install, I did it myself at 39 weeks with no problem. I love how easy it is to adjust the straps. It feels so sturdy and safe. Go to chiccousa.com for their product demos, it makes it easier to understand if carseats confuse you. I also love the newborn insert. My baby sleeps so well in this seat and the seat doesn't feel hard and uncomfortable like other carseats.
