I have had this travel system for over 2yrs and it has been the best out of all our baby gear purchases. My 2 1/2 yr old still rides in the stroller everywhere and loves it. We've had it all over the country on vacations, in the grass, pavement and even sand. We have another light stroller but I still prefer to use my big one because it just makes outings/shopping so nice. The infant seat was very nice and so easy to use. We will use it again for our next baby. Whenever I would try out some of my friends car seats and stollers, thats when I realized just how nice ours was. All the others just felt so cheap. Out of all the things you will buy for your baby, this is where you should put your money. We used it for the longest, it's held up and we'll use it again for next baby. My only minor complaint is I wish the basket was a little bigger and easier to get to when the infant seat is in. It has everything you want, style, safety, ease of use, durabilty and all the ammenties for comfortable travel.

It is super easy to use. I was told by a sheriff who installed it that it was one of the best car seats on the market. The only thing is the basket is tough to access with the carseat attached. It was the best gift we received for our baby

I registered for this product two years ago when I was expecting my now 2 year old son. I loved the way it looked and it got a lot of great reviews, so it seemed like a pretty easy choice to make. However after only a few months, I was
sorry that I had gone with a travel system.

My list of pro's and cons:

Pros for the Infant Carrier:
-extremely plush and comfortable. The carrier was my son's favorite place to nap until he was literally busting out of the thing at 10.5 months old.
-Easy to take apart and wash, which I did often and the cover still looked great after many months of use.

Cons for the Carrier:
-If you are planning to use the carrier during the warm weather months, be prepared for your baby to SWEAT. My son was born in July and until the weather cooled down considerably, his back and hair were soaking wet every time he rode in the carrier
-It does not fit on top of shopping carts and takes up 90% of the back part of the cart, leaving almost no room to put items while you shop.

Pros of the stroller:
-extremely easy to maneuver
-big basket
-tray and cup holder for mom
-tray and cup holder for baby

Cons for stroller:
-This stroller weighs a ton! At first I didn't think it was so bad because I had a newborn and didn't go out every single day, but by the time my son was two months old, I was running many errands everyday, and folding/unfolding and lifting this stroller out of the car several times a day really got cumbersome. It got to the point where I actually dreaded taking it out of the trunk and would just lug the infant carrier around the store with me to avoid having to lift and unfold the stroller.
-It only fit in my trunk one way. And I had to angle it just the right way to get it in or the basket would get caught on the hinges of the trunk, which eventually caused the fabric on the basket to rip.
-the "lever" that holds the basket up kept coming off and would drag on the floor, making it looked old and worn out, even when the stroller was practically brand new. It also scratched the bar that it clipped onto very badly, making that look old and worn out.
-Lastly, the snap on five point harness on mine kept getting jammed and I had a very hard time opening it. Not sure if this was a problem for others or just a defect with mine.

Overall, I was pleased with the infant carrier and used it until my son was over 10 months old and weighed close to 20 lbs, even though he was kind of big for it the last few months, but it was very easy to lift in and out of the base and he loved sleeping in it, so I stuck it out as long as possible.

I stopped using the stroller part of this travel system when he was 4 months old after I bought a lightweight umbrella stoller that was much smaller and easier to open/close and lift in and out of the car.

I have had this travel system for over 2 years and have loved it (besides being a little heavy) but just recently the handel broke right off! I e-mailed Chicco and sent photos they said my warrenty expired but they would send me a new storller as a good will gesture! I was amazed, what a great company. I should have it within 14 days.

My husband and I love this travel system. It is very easy to use and convenient. The latch system is wonderful! Easy to install. The stroller is wonderful too and very easy to fold. The only problem I have found with this system is the carseat is not universal. After having my second child I needed a double stoller and the carseat does not fit in any double strollers. I found an older model graco stroller that I could use this carseat in. I didn't want to change out the whole system because we like this one so much. Hopefully Chico will come out with a double stroller soon! If you plan on having another baby and needing a double stroller don't plan on using this seat with it. Also, carseat does not fit on the top of grocery carts! I always put it in the basket. With the exception of these two, I would reccomend this system. I still use my stroller for my 3 yr old. He still likes it.

My son was 7 lbs. when we brought him home from the hospital and the hospital staff were very pleased with the choice of the Chicco car seat. The newborn inserts helped him fit right in just fine.
I love that you can just click the carseat right into the stroller system, it's very simple to use.
I haven't had an issue with the straps on the carseat twisting, and the one-push button to loosen the harness is great.
The stroller itself is nice, but the size of the opening to the basket area underneath is not big enough to hold his diaper bag or anything else bulky. When I use the stroller without his carseat attached, the harness seems big on my son (he is 15 lbs. now) and the umbrella shield doesn't keep the sun out of his face.
If I had to do it over again, I would purchase this stroller system, but get the system with the car seat that holds up to 30lbs. and not 22 lbs., as it seems he will grow out of it in no time.

This is s great stroller system! The carseat is a breeze, and worked well in both the stroller, car, and out shopping. True it was tricky to put on some carts, but you can always put it in the basket if need be. We are out and about often, and it was never a problem. I read that someone said it works best for an infant....um, obviously. My son is a big boy, and he fit comfortably until 6 months. It was a simple switch to a bigger carseat. The stroller itself moves great, and is very easy. The handles adjust to your height. It would be nice to have two drink holders for me and my husband, but the storage compartment up to is a great feature itself. It is very easy to fold up. It fits easily into our Trailblazer with lots of room to spare. If you have a car, just realize that it's a full size stroller and it'll take up a bit of room. If that bothers you, you should consider a smaller option. The basket underneath is huge, the only drawback is that if you have a sleeping infant laying down, then it's a bit tough to get things into the basket, but it's not a big deal. I am so happy we have this stroller, and am excited to use it again for our second one in Feb.!

I got this set because It was the best in consumers report. The car seat worked better in the infant stage. Once my daughter got over 8months she was just uncomfortable in it. There isn't much padding on the bottom. It doesn't fit in most shopping carts but my daughter doesn't sleep much so it wasn't a problem for us. I love the one pull tightening and loosening harness fitting and the base system. We got one for each car and it makes it a breeze to switch cars.

The stroller barely fit in the trunk of my nissan sentra and forget about adding any bags if you are shopping. I ended up selling my car to get something bigger. Once again the stroller worked better when she was younger, once she was old enough to sit up she didn't fit well. If we put the foot sheild down she would slide right out because there isn't enough room for her litte butt, we would have to strap her in which she didn't like cause the harness is huge. She is a tiny little thing too only weighing 16lbs at one year. Wish I would have know this about the stroller before. Oh well Hind sight right?

I searched high and low to find just the "right" carseat which offered the best protection for my baby AND fit best in my car (sports car). With some of the other seats, my passenger seat would have to be pushed way forward and there was no chance of holding a passenger. With this seat, my seat is forward, however I can have a passenger that's on the petite side (my 15 year old niece fit comfortably). The only downside (which is actually a plus for my needs right now) is the carseat goes up to 22 lbs, and I'm hoping my 3.5 month old doesn't reach this weight soon (he's already 16 lbs). The stroller fits in the trunk of my car and I still have room for groceries. I love it.

This is a great product, I researched this on the Consumer Reports website and it has not failed to please. The infant insert was perfect when our daughter was smaller.

We haven't used the stroller without the car seat yet but it is has been handy with the car seat as it snaps right in place. The stroller folds easily to stow in the trunk.

I would recommend this travel system to others.
