I purchased these books years ago when my first child was born and loved them. They held up extremely well through 3 children and countless cycles in the washing machine. I recently purchased a set as a gift and was quite disappointed to see the quality is not the same, and despite the pictures on the packaging, the product has changed. There is no longer "wings" on the fabric book for baby to teethe, which was the best part. My kids could chew on that and the fabric of the book would absorb the drool and keep their clothes dry, then just throw it in the washing machine at night. There is also no Velcro tab to hold the book together, which is minor but I would miss it. Had I not already owned the books, I wouldn't know the difference. However, the quality is noticeably lower and I doubt they will hold up as well. Please note, these are not real books. Just silly pictures (one per page) with a single word written under them.

My son is almost a year old and when I bought these books I actually expected a little more...they are small and plastic, which is good for him to hall around and chew on. Other than that, they aren't all that helpful for learning or reading really because they have only one word per page (one book has no pictures but has slots for you to add your own), but they make good toys I guess. I wouldn't recommend these books for the price.

I LOVED these Sassy books! I bought a similar Sassy book set 5 years ago for my other child and she loved them! Perfect to start the baby looking at books, turning pages.

These books are very cute and have bright colors babies love to look at. These are very durrable as my 9 month old crumples up these books again and again and they just pop riht back. There always just fine, still intact with all my little one puts them through. They are great for teething to.

Cheaply made and incoherently presented. Did not get my daughter's attention at all. The only good thing was the mirror... but I probably could have used a makeup mirror and gotten the same reaction.

While babysitting my infant grandson, I found these books in his room. I decided to read them to him and it was such fun watching his reaction! He is 9 weeks old. He especially liked the one with a mirror in it because he could see himself.. I guess he just knew the reflection was another baby! All I can say is what a shame that one reviewer returned them immediately upon seeing them. I mean, they are BABY books! These are a great way to start introducing your baby to reading! I plan to get them for a friend who is expecting twins!

Our baby loves, loves, loves these bugs...I mean books! From her first days at home with us she was captivated by the colors and patterns in these books and at 3 months they hold her attention for up to 30-45 minutes as we flip through the pages and make up our own stories. She babbles and bats at the various "characters" and several of these "friends" bring a HUGE smile to her face every time we turn to their page. These are very good items for keeping a newborn entertained! They definitely were a god-send to this first time mom!

The books are so boring. There are only a few pages and nothing interesting. Just a mirror on a page and another page is a place to put your kid's picture in. Received it as a gift and returned it immediately.

these books are awesome! the fabric one goes with us everywhere since it has a teething toy, mirror, and sqeeks! it never comes out of the diaper bag. the other ones are cute as well. my 6 month old loves to "flip" through them and always seems to be intrigued by the bright colors and images. they are also really easy to clean.
