This thermometer is great! We were having a hard time getting an accurate reading from any other thermometer. I actually had the pacifier thermometer... thinking what a great idea! Nope! It gave a different reading every time, even for myself. I had a cheapy digital thermometer that did the same thing. Now I have piece of mind when taking my baby's temp. It's great that it has different adapters and that they are stored on the body of the thermometer! Easy to use! Simple. Fast. Accurate. Worth every penny. The whole family can use it!

We bought this because our other thermometers weren't as versatile as this one. We liked that it had the under-arm, oral and r*ctal attachments right in the unit itself. It's easy to clean and store. I have found that the r*ctal and oral are the most accurate. The underarm never seems to register a fever. Even when my 3 year old daughter's temperature was 103.3 (orally) the underarm attachment registered her temperature as 97.6 (still within normal range even with adding two degrees).

This thermometer has worked great on our daughter from day 1. She was a little bit cold in the hospital, so my husband was religious about taking her temperature every day for the first two weeks (rectally), and she always fell in the normal range. When she got a fever at 4 months, it started beeping and was flashing red within 3 seconds of taking her temp, so it definitely works! One of my friends got this thermometer on my recommendation, but hers was not working (like some of the other reviews). I told her to take it back for a new one, and the second one worked well.

This is a useless thermometer. We tried it on our newborn and it registered 93.7. When my husband tried it on himself, it read 95.7!

For a 1st time mom I was intimidated about tempature taking, this makes it so easy. You cant go to far and the alarm will sign if there is a temp. automatically. wow talk about worry proof.

I'm not a paid consumer, this is a real mom that loves the product.

This thermometer is easy to use for newborns as well as adults. I like the recall button to see what the last temp was and at what time. I am very pleased with this thermometer and it's not so expensive! All of the parts store on the thermometer so it's easy to keep it all together.

The thermometer works well and is accurate. After reading other reviews parents of infants should be aware that axillary(or under arm) temperatures are not accurate and should not be used on infants. The most accurate is recta until the age 2. Also a baby is not considered to have a true fever below 100.5 and temperature can change considerably from the time you take it at home, until the time the nurse at the office does. Please be aware of how to correctly take your baby's temp before giving such negative reviews!!!

We have tried many thermometers and have not been happy with any of them until now. Worth the price! I like this so much better than ear or forehead thermometers because you do not have to hold it 'just right' to get a reading. My 14 mo old is not feeling well and fights when the nurses tried to use the long probe type kind under her arm. I have the same trouble at home. She did not struggle at all with the underarm attachment so it must be more comfortable than the other kinds.

Pros-
-Large easy to read display
-Attachments are kept inside the case so they are not lost
-VERY fast readings
-Accurate
-Comfortable to use

Cons-
-None really. The only thing that even comes close is that the attachments do not come on and off all that easily. I assume this is to ensure they do not come off when using it with a child that is struggling. The plug is a mini usb so you sort of think it should plug in easily like your phone does but if it did the attachments would be worthless because they would fall off all the time.

FYI- When you turn it on you should not have the probe in your mouth or underarm yet. If you do it will gradually heat up and show the temp the whole time. It needs to turn on and display an "L" before you put in place. If you let it read the low ("L") air temp first it will give you a reading in seconds. if it is taking a long time you are doing it wrong.

We bought this thermometer because it had pretty good reviews and it was a little pricey-er than the others. This thermometer is completley inaccurate. I'm sorry, my daughter is not 93.6!!
