This is my second humidifier and not because I loved it so much I wanted an other. My first one broke after only a few months and was able to get a replacement. My second is on its last leg and is roughly 7 months old. It is poor quality and breaks easily.

My son's bedroom is 9' x 12' and this device did not have any impact on the room's humidity. After one month of use the device made this grumbling sound. Probably should have read all the reviews first before buying. Bad mistake on my part.

It's not as noisy as some suggest. I have seen louder humidifiers. But the quality is not there.

We were planning on using this in our nursery -- we loved how compact and sleek it looked. We also liked the sounds of a no filter unit ; however ---- the item came and was defective. The fan did not work, so the humidity was very slowly seeping out a random hole on the bottom of the machine. If the fan were working, it might have been okay, but I've read other reviews since that have said it is not a big enough machine to be the sole humidifier for an entire room. We'll be getting something bigger.

Used this unti for about 3 months. Never made enough moisture for entire room and had to set near our daughter when she was sick. After 3 months the fan motor started making a loud buzzing noise. I emailed the manufacturer and they just replied with instructions on cleaning the unit that were already in the manual. Complete junk and i wont buy any of their other products.

Bought this product and used it moderately or 3 months at which time it started making extremely loud buzzing noises and a week later stopped working all together

not a powerful Humidifier so did not do the job when baby was sick. Power cord will heat up and be very hot so always made me nervous. finally just stopped working after using it only about 5-6 times over 1.5 years. Larger models for less money work much better.

I have had 2 of these and they both did the same thing. After a few uses they get really loud and sound like they are going to go on fire. It is so loud it wakes the baby up. Horrible.

We bought this product to help with my 18 month old's allergies, hoping that we would love it. the first few days it was great. Easy to clean, quiet, small. We always put filtered water in it, and would only run it while he was sleeping. The first one, the nightlight stopped working within the first week, which was one of the things we wanted it for. We took it back to try a second. It worked fine for about 3 weeks, then we left for 1.5 weeks to go on vacation, come back, worked for a few days, then I go to turn it on and it makes a loud motor noise. Turned it off left it over night, turned it back on the next night and the motor was going fine on it, but saw no vapor. Tried it a few more days and realized that the water tank wasn't going down at all, meaning it is not putting anything out. Needless to say, will be taking this one back also. It is one thing if I hadn't been cleaning it, but I had. So annoyed.

After just a few times of using this humidifier I noticed that the plug in gets very hot which makes me nervous to leave on all night. Now it makes a loud growling noise for the first few minute that it is on. Now I am searching for a better humidifier.
