For Fussiness and Gas Most babies are fussy and gassy at times. But if it seems your baby has more frequent fussiness and gas, it could be a sign that he may need another baby formula. You can trust Similac Sensitive to provide a strong start for your baby's developing digestive system due to lactose sensitivity. Not intended for use in infants or children with galactosemia.

The Facts About Similac Sensitive are: Easy to digest, specially made with a unique blend of carbohydrates for less fussiness and gas, milk-based and it's kosher.

After 1 1/2 months my daughter-in-love just could not produce any more breast milk...I bought her the double electric pump but she was exhausted n not eating well which meant James Michael wasn't eating well n the gassiness n screams all day n night scared us all until I found this product. We supplemented the breast milk with the ready made bottles so she could rest n after another month he's on this formula full time. It's convenient and easy to use (it tastes pretty good too) n it delivers on its promise of less gas n fuss
The price of a container of powdered formula is the one thing that isn't so great, in fact it's sad. Other than pricing (which we aren't allowed to discuss) i have no suggestions.
However I DO have one last thing to say...THANK YOU, for without this specific type and brand my grandson would have been miserable and his parents would have had a harder time enjoying what is the best thing they have next to their love for each other.

Due to a surgery, I was unable to continue to breast feed. I used Similac Advanced because that is what they used at the hospital and my son was gassy and fussy from the get-go. We switched to the Sensitive after about 4 weeks, but did not notice much of a difference. He seemed very slightly less gassy and fussy, so we switched back to the Sensitive. It is incredibly foamy and I agree with a previous post, how is it supposed to help with gas when it is so foamy and bubbly? For us, there wasn't much of a difference and for whatever reason, he isn't having any more problems with Similac Advanced, so we are back on that.

Similiac does seem to be closest to breast milk (his stools still look like breast milk stools), so we like Similac and I think it's great that Similac provides an alternative to the Advanced formula that is still based on Cows Milk, yet is lactose free. The sensitive just wasn't the formula for us.

Comments about Abbott Nutrition 1010224 Similac Sensitive Formula Powder - 22.5 Ounce:

My baby is 6 months old. My baby's appetite has been good from the very beginning. He has been on breast milk and this formula. I started using this product from his 2nd month and never faced colic issues. i have been very happy with the product. My baby's growth and health has been super good all this while. I would strongly recommend this product to any mum.

    Similac Sensative is Awesome!

Comments about Abbott Nutrition 1010224 Similac Sensitive Formula Powder - 22.5 Ounce:

I breast fed my son exclusively for 3 months and noticed breast milk on its own was now satisfying him and was giving him horrific belly problems, we tried Similac Sensative due to his Sensative belly and it has worked WONDERS. He seems completely satisfied and doesn't get belly problems anymore. It's reasonably priced and comes in a very easy to use and travel container. I then tried enfamil gentleease and nutramiegen both which bothered his stomach and he did not like the taste and the only reason I tried those is because it's covered by wic but I don't mind having to pay for Similac because it Works!

After trying many formulas, this is the one that has worked best for my son who has reflux and colic. He struggles less during feedings, spits up less, and seems satisfied after finishing each bottle.

Comments about Abbott Nutrition 1010224 Similac Sensitive Formula Powder - 22.5 Ounce:

I started my little one with breast milk. After a month, my milk dried up and I was forced to supplement with formula. I started with Enfamil Sensitive. My little one was still very gassy and had lots of watery spit up. My pediatrician recommended switching to Similac Sensitive . Not only did it stop the gas but the spit up was reduced tremendously!!!! His spit up was less and thicker! The only thing that i did notice in the formula was ..... When mixing, it was very frothy... But it didn't make my little one any difference!!!

Oh and I forgot to add, he was born at 37 weeks , 5.5 lbs..... Sometimes that makes a difference of what's best for their little tummies ....

When I gave my baby this formula, it started out fine. However, a few days went by and she started to get even more gassy and fussy. The formula is SUPER foamy and it smelled really bad. I would not recommend it at all. My baby is now on Gerber Gentle and she loves it!!

Ever Since my baby was born, the hospital gave him half similac advance and my breastmilk. After awhile I notice he was having stomach pains, so we switch him to similac sensitive and he only drinks that. Similac is expensive, so we tried switching to gentlease but my baby SO notice the difference and refused to eat. I'm sticking to similac sensitive as long as it makes my baby happy.
