I purchased this after realizing that I was losing suction on my freestyle pump and not pumping as much volume wise. Wish I would have thought to purchase spare parts months ago! I originally wanted to breastfeed for six months, and have now decided to go for a year. Can't use the same parts for a whole year!!

These seems to work really well so far. The only downfall is that there are 3 pieces to wash every time you use them.

I currently pump exclusively as my son is in the NICU. These were a great investment to save on washing time; it's easy to leave one set drying while the other is ready to go for the next use. I also bought another set of flanges to have on hand as well so I always have a clean set.

Just a handy tip when pumping...I've heard you can keep your used pump parts in a refrigerator between pumping session (within one day) instead of washing and sterilizing each time you pump. This was helpful to me b/c washing each time you pump is a pain and takes up more precious time. This has worked well for me. Just try to warm the flanges before your next use or they are a little cold (if you know what I mean) ;0))

You no longer have to wash the same set every 3 hours. Great at night when you want to sleep instead of washing your set all the time, You can wash 2 or 3 sets at once to get you through the night.

This product is wonderful to have on hand. I am a full time nursing student and sometimes have to be away from my daughter up to 14 hours on some days. It is difficult to find a spot in some of the hospitals where I can pump in privacy let alone wash and sterilize my original parts. It is wonderful having spare parts. Even at home while one set is drying, I have another set available to use when I need to.
